Had another great meal at Italia yesterday evening. I would have preffered to have been seated somewhere else, but they were pretty busy when we showed up. Both the food and the server were excellent. This is my go-to restaurant in Spokane.

Am I in Spokane, WA? Yes, there are some restaurants here but we were not expecting this spot to be so magical. First of all, it is a small trattoria in an adorable neighborhood away from the main part of town. Secondly, the ambiance, service...More

This place has amazing food, service, and great atmosphere. The polenta lasagna is the best. The french toast is to die for.

The dishes are generally imaginative but sometimes seemed just a bit bland to my taste which is curious as I find most restaurant food to be too salty, greasy, and/or generally over-seasoned. I would personally prefer whole wheat pasta to the spaghetti noodles I had....More

We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation and they kept us waiting with other early arrivers in their tiny entrance even tho there were 6 empty, ready tables. Its their policy they said to make customers wait rather than seat people comfortably. I complained...More

This is a nice Bistro in a refurbished garage atmosphere. Tight seating, modern styled decor on the budget. The receptionist host is the first impression, this case here needs some updating style. The food was cooked to perfection! The Cheese meat appetizer plate could use...More

I love Italian food but, frankly, I could hardly find any of my favorites on this highly creative menu What I had was "OK," but not memorable. What I do remember is the high price. Not worth it to me.

An amazing restaurant in an amazing setting in a beautiful neighborhood with a European feel. As an owner/chef myself of 3 Brothers Bistro, in Hardin, Montana, we had a customer from Spokane in our restaurant a few weeks ago that enjoyed there dinning experience with...More

Description
In July of 2010, Chef Anna Vogel and Operations Manager Bethe Bowman opened Italia Trattoria, a lively, regionally inspired Italian restaurant in historic Browne’s Addition just west of downtown Spokane. Chef Anna’s commitment to cooking seasonally with the finest local produce and artisan products available from Italy and the Pacific Northwest has differentiated Italia Trattoria from any other restaurant in Spokane. The menu has an eclectic mix of house made pastas, meats and fresh fish, salads and soups, and breakfast dishes on weekends. Our menu changes seasonally while offering some of our house favorite dishes year around. The menu is complimented by a well-received wine list with a primary focus on Italian producers and some local Northwest wines. We offer a full service bar with hand crafted martinis, barrel aged cocktails, fresh squeezed juices, and the best espresso in town. Whether you are in the mood for our grilled rack of wild boar with sweet potato gnocchi, a house made squid ink fettuccine with spicy wild shrimp, our charred octopus salad, the best meatballs in town, or our city wide famous zeppole doughnuts or tiramisu, come dine with us.
