Quirky cafe and a cosy stop for lunch. Lots of homemade options on the chalkboard and a few local brews on tap. Catered for a large family visit with smiles and attention, problem with one meal was quickly rectified. Would visit again in the evening for the live music if we return to snoqualmie.

Fun little place is artistic in that no table is the same. Comfortable atmosphere. Staff really nice and helpful. Tons of art all over from local artists. Look forward to catching live music one of these days.

Just passing by, we spied a restaurant row here downtown. At first glance, it appears to be a coffee house, but they serve meals when open. It appears to be decent enough food, and the atmosphere is out of Berkeley.

My husband and I ate here after hiking and were starving. The food was great. I got a salad and sandwich which were both wonderful. The menu was interesting and had lots to choose from. The bread they use for all the sandwiches is home made and delicious. I would definitely go again!

We were glad the Salish lodge was totally booked because we went into historic Snoqualmie and had lunch. We found a delightful little café called the Black Dog which doubles as a gift shop. I had a delicious vegetarian sandwich on homemade bread and my husband had a sandwich packed with meat. Both very good and the coffee was freshly... More

It seems like this quaint little spot is trying a little too hard. By that I mean it is not necessary to try to add too much of your own twist to every dish. We ate breakfast here. Their special was Eggs Benedict, which I love. Once I made certain their sauce was homemade (the usual issue with this dish)... More

Wanted to try a new restaurant that would serve fresh, local food. We stumbled across the Black Dog while looking to try a new restaurant for lunch. Many great looking options on the menu. My husband, daughter and I ordered different items. We all were happy with our selections and left feeling pleasantly full. I plan on going back to... More

Cute spot with live music on a Sunday afternoon, which was cool. They do not deviate from their menu at all (for example, we asked if we could get plain pancakes when we saw blueberry pancakes on the menu - no...and asked for "plain" salad instead of Ceasar or their other option - no), so don't go with picky eaters....
