Jakes is greasy spoon type of restaurant. Good food and lots of it. Be prepared to take home the extra for a 2nd or maybe a 3rd meal. The cookies are always on the counter for a pre-meal snack which is a very touch.

Cute small place. Love the decor and atmosphere. Good service. Good solid breakfast food. Awesome ham. Big portions so you really get your money's worth. Reasonable prices too.

Tiny little diner covered with Americana all over the walls. Menus at the table like an old 50s joint. Welcoming staff, excellent service with character. This is my kind of place! Food was good and a great price, served fairly quickly and it was hot. It may be a greasy spoon but this place is hoping and stays busy during... More

This place is small and very hard to find a seat at the busy times. The food is awesome, and servers nice. Don't expect 5 star food or 5 star service, but if you want comfort food that is great, then come here. Myself since I live in town, I get in nice and early. Don't come here with a... More

If you like a great breakfast and large portions enough for lunch later this is the place. Tight quarters but really nice folks serving good food

Small, but cozy - very friendly crowd. Great comfort food for breakfast - huge portions. We sat at the bar and loved it!

Have been here multiple times. Good food, large portions, low prices and fun atmosphere. With that said breakfast is a very busy time for them so getting a table can be difficult.

I have driven by this restaurant for years and noticed a lot of cars always in front of it (like twenty years). My wife finally talked me into going there. OMG, the service is great, the food is absolutely the best. The only negative is that it is almost always full. So, go early for breakfast or be prepared to... More

Love going to Jakes for Breakfast! Very large portions so go hungry or share with someone. The atmosphere has old collectables all over, you never see everything the first time!

I showed up here an hour before they closed, which was perfect. There were no lines at that time but they were definitely. The place looks really neat. Retro style 50s tin signs decorate every free wall space they have. Toy cars decorate all the window sills. I felt like I had gone back in time to a genuine old... More
