I was a regular at this restaurant for many years, but then my favorite waiter retired and they changed owners. This was my first visit in awhile. The restaurant sits on a busy corner, and it can be challenging to get in and out of...More

The atmosphere is very pleasant and Chinese. Service is normally excellent and the place is normally quiet except for happy hour when the bar gets REALLY busy. Food is reliably good and affordable. One of our "go to" places when we don't want to cook.

For a Chinese restaurant dive bar the food is pretty good. The Singapore Noodles are recommended and the beef with broccoli was also tasty. Good portions as well. The bartender is a character watching joint and the drinks are stiff.

This is our go-to spot for Chinese food when we're in the North Seattle/North City area. My husband and I enjoyed their "package dinners" with many choices to make it your own. Although it needs a bit of upgrading on decor, you can't beat the...More

When we visited in mid-June 2013, we discovered that the ownership had changed, different staff was now populating the restaurant, including our joke-telling waiter, who had retired prior to the ownership change. In addition, the menu changed, with a different line-up of options. Since we...More

Peking house is a couple of blocks away from our house and my wife and I have dined there many years ago; maybe 4-5 years? Back then, the dishes didn't have much flavor and just about everything was salty. A couple of weeks ago, we...More
