The restaurant is small and quaint with a second floor seating area and bar overlooking the main floor. We had a peppered steak and cioppino that were very large and tasted great. Deserts were just as good as the main courses. I highly recommend the restaurant. Well worth the stop.

We had to wait 50 minutes for our dinner but the food was very good. We would return but plan accordingly (would not arrive hungry). It must be a tough place to be a server though. Hard to make a living on tips if the management doesn't staff it adequately. We were sympathetic to our server and left a good... More

It's our first night in Port Townsend. Great food, great ambiance. Understaffed though. After being promptly seated, we saw the only server for the first floor was running around serving tables. Our orders were finally taken after 20 minutes. Food was fabulous though. Fried artichokes were delicious. Sirloin was perfect as was the salmon. Would go back to try more... More

After a hefty lunch, I didn't want a big dinner. Silverwater's crab cakes are excellent, and they were happy to serve me even though I wasn't ordering a big meal. It would have been a 5-star, but the dressing on the salad was too vinegary for me. I'd certainly go back if I were in the area again, and I'd... More

One of the prettiest restaurants in our town. Very good menu and the food is very good, always... if you like fish then the halibut is a must. The house baked desserts are a must..

Well prepared dishes, attentive service, we have never been disappointed. Our faves are the lamb shank, pepper steak and salmon (when in season). Vegetarians like the lentil burger. All desserts are good. If you're lucky enough to be put on the mezzanine, Table 13 is a great one to watch the entire scene.

Out of 6 of us 5 liked our food. We had burgers, shrimp scampi, crab melt, Reuben, taco or chicken salad. The shrimp scampi wasn't so great, all else was good. Service was friendly and efficient.

We had planned on having dinner our last night in Port Townsend at our favorite restaurant but they were closed so we took the advice of some locals and stopped by the Silverwater Café. They were just opening for dinner at 5:00 so there weren't but a few of us at first. The downstairs is their main dining area and... More

Visited on a blustery evening; and walked into a vibrant, busy environment. Menu items all looked interesting, but as we were not overly hungry chose the mussel special - excellent (and we are mussel lovers from BC). Great service.
