We stopped at country Mercantile in Richland when we were passing through. It is very new and outside of the metro area near a brand-new housing development. It is extremely clean and has many fun things. You can sample all of the breads that they make fresh each day in the bakery. Also there is an ice cream shop, fruit... More
I hadn't been to Country Mercantile in a while and recently stopped in just to wander around, sample various items, and browse the gifts, etc. They always have some great samples (jams, smoked salmon, candies, dips, etc.). They have a full deli area that sells sandwiches and a lot more, and they also have a huge candy store area and... More

This is a great place to take a break from a long road trip but us locals love it too! The food is great and worth the wait. Lot's to look at and browse through while having lunch or buying handmade chocolate.
I have visited many times and I've never been disappointed. The food is great no matter what you order. Sandwiched are yummy. The Mexican food is excellent and the chocolates are divine! On top of all of that they have fresh produce and homemade breads. It is a wonderful place!

I had a plated Enchilada dinner, not very spicy. My husband had the salmon soup, he thought it was just so, so. The food we ordered wasn't all that... More
