It had been about six years since we had been in, and it did not disappoint as far as the food went. The food is good size portions, and tasty. The service was good. The not so good was the inside smell, it smells like wet feet, but if you can get over the aroma the food is really good!

Four razor diggers were looking for a meal in anticipation of our dig the next morning. We met Ryan for the first time as our waiter at the Sea Gate. The menu had enough variety to give us some choices. So ordered drinks and settled into a very energetic young man who knew the works about this place. Ryan was... More

They have great fish tacos made from fresh cod at a great price. Ryan is a great host, waiter, and bar tender. I highly recommend this place as a hidden gem with great food, and a friendly attentive staff. Will eat here again.

Over the years, I have had lunches and dinners at the Sea Gate. The price is very reasonable, the food fairly good. The service is always quick and friendly.

The food was good, the service wasn't that great. Lady acted like we were a bother to her. The worst thing was cigarette smoke from the covered patio came into the restaurant. Cough cough yuck.

This place could use a bit of a make over (at least some paint), a bit divey looking but the Food and Staff were great. We went back 2 days in a row because the food was really good and the value was good as well. The locals were very friendly as well. We will visit again for sure.

Had an excellent steak and prawns with salad, baked potato and Texas toast. Good service. Local color. Jukebox was a little loud.

When we checked into our motel, the gal told us about the "local dive bar" when recommending a place to eat in the area and I was impressed! We actually came twice during our two day stay. the whole place is run by one guy and a few chefs in the back. He bartends, serves, and busses the tables. We... More

The place has no ambiance what so ever, no music playing, nothing! The food was awful. The worst fish and chips ever. Did not want to risk paying with a credit card. Not many choices in this area, I guess that's how they get away with it.

There isn't much around this town but this bar/grill had good reviews. The food is indeed good and service was fine. The decor and atmoshphere might turn some patrons off though.
