Large selection of brews. Hodgson's Bitter End IPA goes great with the Brewer's Steak! Winterfish IPA is really a great Ale. Only wish they might consider serving their IPAs at room temperature as they do in England. Brewer's Steak is so flavorful I had to go back for a second visit during my one week visit to Olympia. The Bangers... More

We brought my sister and brother-in-law with us today, and everyone enjoyed the experience. When we walked in, someone was right there to show us the open tables so we could choose; I like that. Fish Tale has an open airy room near the bar; there's a separate room where you can come with kids and enjoy the food. Today... More

The atmosphere at the Fish Tale Brew Pub is relaxing. They have a tasting of different types of craft beer and I like that because I hate to order a beer and then not be able to drink it. It is fun to go with family and friends. The fish dishes are different and tasty. I when with my sister... More

My friend and I stopped here for a quick bite to eat and a beer. We ended up staying for over 2 hours to keep trying their beers and ciders! The food was ok, I had a salmon quesadilla. We tried about half of what they serve in beers and ciders by getting multiple flights (only $6!!!). My favorite was... More

The place is quiet on Mondays, I asked about Monday Night Football and they were quick to turn on the game. Some people looked at me a little too long when I first got there alone, they seemed like the regulars and I seemed odd. The food is ok, my friends Black Bean burger looked so good I almost asked... My husband ordered the sirloin steak which he never does...it is usually too tough and bland..This was very flavorful and tender.. I enjoyed my fish tacos ..though not the best I ever had. The beer we had was good too porter was full bodied but not heavy and myIPA was crisp and clean with just enough hops to go with... More

We really liked this brewpub. Outside and inside seating and we went for Happy Hour. The beer was really good and we sat outside and had an enjoyable time. I also went inside and bought a really cute tee shirt. We walked from our hotel which was very nice, and then we walked to the pier and the harbor. We... More

Fish Tale Ales has a great line of proprietary beers available on tap, as well as taps for other breweries, with several in rotation. Their happy hour, weekdays 3-5, has discounted beers and appetizers. The $1 oyster shooters are a favorite of ours. On warm days the sidewalk seating beckons. On colder days, enjoy the bar, pub, and even a... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way south from Seattle. Since your average fast food stop along the freeway is our last choice, we were happy to find a brew pub close to the freeway with parking. The fare is typical pub grub, nothing special. There was the usual assortment of brews on tap, pale ale, IPA, heavier choices... More

Visited on a Thursday evening. Sat at the bar, for I was alone on a work trip. There were two bartenders behind the bar, primarily filling servers' orders. Had to wait a few too many minutes for a beer at first, however after that, the beer and food made up for it. Ordered the pale ale and the organic IPA... More
