Wonderful family run restaurant in town. We go twice a month and if it is just the two of us they as about our Granddaughter. We have never had a bad meal and we have been going for over 20 years. Service us alway good and they stop by the table just to talk and ask if everything is ok... More

If you want true, authentic, delicious Mexican food, Tijuana is your place!!! The other Mexican places in Monroe serve Mexican food that's been "Americanised". Tijuana has the real thing full of deep, rich, classic flavours that are made with love & are family classic recipes that have been simmering all day. If you want something like Azteca, go elsewhere. The... More

We travel to the Yucatan a couple times a year, but when we are home this is our local place for good Mexican food and service. Always treated like family and great food! Check out the specials and anyone of the soups. The menu has all the "American" standbys but even those are more flavorful and authentic. Even the rice... More

Felipe and Martha make and service the best Mexican food consistently in this small town. How do you know it's good? The cops eat there.

Tijuana is in my opinion the best Mexican food in Monroe! We order the same thing every time- we ALWAYS order refried beans instead of whole beans (which is what comes with the meal)... They never seem to get that part right- about 90% of the time they give us whole beans. But still, the food is delish!

I stopped by for lunch on my way back to the office from a job site. Friendly service, excellent chips and salsa. I was not impressed with the main dish I ordered, which were the pork tamales. One sad little tamale, fairly dry pork filling, with some beans and rice. I'll grant that the entree price was pretty low, but... More

The chips and salsa are amazing, I can't say the same for my meal. While it was OK, I can say I will return to the restaurant, but will not order the same meal. My guy enjoyed his entire combination plate and we even had two items that were the same on our plates. Have friends that eat here when... More

Lunch time at Tijuana inc. salsa and chips were a welcoming starter while I waited for my Tijuana big beef burrito with the rice and beans. Friendly service at the restaurant. Only in Monroe for a couple of days and it was nice to eat well. I hope your hungry the plates are decent portions with whole beans. Adiós

When you go into Tijuana in Monroe you step into a friend's kitchen. The food is wonderful, the people are caring and always ready to help. Their margaritas are yummy too. You should try the Tijuana Burrito.
