We had dinner with family here on a weekend night. The place was empty (and we were there until almost 7:00). We enjoyed appetizers that included calamari and tapenade. Dinners were portioned correctly and tasty. Kitchen was slow (took ovef a half hour for meals) but ourwawaitress was attentive and nice.

It has been several years since my wife and I have eaten at the Bistro. I'm not sure why as we used to frequent it when it was downstairs and in the back of the restaurant. But we have been missing out! We went on the invitation of another couple and really enjoyed it! The drinks, food and service were... More

Had lunch here twice because it was so good and so fresh! They bake their own bread and have tasty soup, salad, sandwich combos. The restaurant was quite busy and I can understand why!!

The new small plate menu has something for most everyone's taste. Food was great. The ambiance was nice. Made for a very lovely evening.

I can't tell you how much I wanted this place to succeed. It should succeed. Nice location, nice ambience, nice live music. But the food facts simply don't support a good review. The meal was edible but uninspired. I had mashed potatoes on my plate with overly salty salmon! The wife's Ahi salad was, in her words,-"I'm not coming back... More

Based on the name of the restaurant, I was expecting a halfway decent wine list. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. The glass list is all readily available at any gas station in the area, and the bottle list was just as uninteresting. The space itself is quite nice, with an open concept, live music on the weekends, with... More

For a special night this has ambiance, music, great food and a good wine list. We save this for special occasions or for visitors if we aren't going to Portland. You need reservations.

I was meeting a friend for dinner and decided to check out The Bistro. I had been there once before years ago and thought it was okay. We asked for a table upstairs by the window and it was available as we were the only people there. I know it was a weeknight but was surprised it was so empty,... More

Wife and i ordered the honey glazed sockeye salmon with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Sounds good, doesn't it? If you like your salmon the consistency of jerky and your asparagus less than full of life, if you believe potatoes belong as an accompaniment to fish of any kind, well then it was okay. When the waitress asked and we shared... More

We had 4 appetizers. The first was the chicken strips on a stick. :( they were so chewy that we had to cut them off the stick. The strips can be bought at Costco 12 for $10.00. The up Stairs was not air conditioned. I was shocked. The windows were open and had screens thank god. There was only one... More
