I had a blueberry glaze donut and it was good. The blueberry scone was not so much. The lemon turnover was excellent and the Old Fashion glaze was also good. There was much to choose from and we just couldn't justify consuming all the sugar we would need to eat to sample it all. Let me just say - all... More

Love this place. Best donuts around. Huge selection. Best Apple fritters I've ever had. Great variety of fresh donuts and breads. Also have a lunch counter. Lived in area for a year and visit this place a few times a month.

My husband ran in to get some breakfast pastries. A local told him to get apple bread. So he got apple bread, florentine, and apple cider donuts. All great!

Our family enjoyed every one of the pastries we tried! Eyes were too big for our stomach so ended up boxing them up. They were so fresh and delicious! Anything you could want, we tried the cream puffs and devil dogs to name a few. All were scrumptious!

This place makes amazing bakery items AND wonderful soups. The workers are all very friendly and patient...since there are SO many delicious things to choose from. The Sailor Jacks are a unique individual spice and raisin cake with a clear glaze over the top. Apparently they originated in WWII. Their breads (I devoured a loaf of sourdough pumpernickel!) and pies... More

When in LB, I start my morning here. The bakery items are great. The selection is varied and interesting. The coffee is okay.

We enjoyed lunch here. They had fantastic soups and made our sandwiches fresh right in front of us. Their baked goods were hard to resist. Yummy!

I recently moved to the peninsula. I was working near by around lunch. Went in for the cottage special 1/2 sandwich and soup or salad. That was great. It was clean and there was no blaring music playing. The service was friendly and willing to suggest items. If you want dessert try the dirty dog.

Leave your calorie counting behind when you walk in the door. Take your time to look through the 4 or 5 glass front cabinets filled with various pastries. If you can't decide, do what we do......get them to fill up a take out box with a variety of goodies. Locals eat here & gather for coffee, donuts, etc. with good... More
