Excellent, large, meaty, fall off the bone tender, we'll browned and served with excellent tender basmatic rice, smokey babganoush (or humus) and a small salad. We also shared the mixed vegetarian plate with tangy fresh dolmas, crispy brown falafel (adore those) and humus. Needless to say we have lunch tomorrow! My husband, who doesn't like to eat out, raved about... More

This used to be an A&W and didn't realize it had changed hands to a Greek restaurant. They have a decent variety of food available. And everything we had was very good. Service was fast and people very friendly. We will return again.

Good food, good prices. My salad was amazing! Place is an old A&W so small in size but food was fresh and good.

Most flavorful middle eastern food we have had in a long time. Tried it on a Groupon. Though we live 45 minutes away, we would make the trip just to eat there again. Shawarma, kabobs, hummus, the greek salad, you will be glad you checked them out!

Stopped here on a whim and found I hit the jackpot. Been back several times as a result. Great freshly made food at great prices. Who'd have thought/believe that their French fries would be so good in a Med restaurant.

in the food business, you live or die by whether your quality warrants repeat or even referral business. We will return to Ishtar and we will tell our foodie friends about this jewel which has the best dolmas that we have ever eaten. For those of you who choose your restaurants by whether they are Architectural Digest candidates, you are... More

This place was really neat! I loved their food, especially lamb. Greek salad wasn't good (don't waste money on it), but the main dishes and all sorts of kebab were delicious! Will definitely come back if I am in the area.

I was pulled in for lunch by the sign outside. Ordered a Lulu Kebap plate at the cashier for $9. There are about 8 tables, one was available so I sat down and two minutes later I am being served my ice water and a salad with hummus or perhaps baba ganoush complete with a basket of pita bread. I... More

Every time we visit this wonderful place I am struck by the number of families with kids. Nice family atmosphere with a wonderful mix of Middle Eastern and western customers. The vibe teaches us in these troubled times that people really are a lot more alike than they are different. We all love spending time with our families, and we... More

Housed in an old fast food restaurant. They serve huge amounts of food. Service was fairly fast and staff were very friendly. I thought the food was good although not the best of this kind that I have had. I agree with others that the lamb was the best. Chicken was a little dried out.
