The 8th Street Ale House is an American pub influenced by Irish ancestry. It is a local favorite for ales, lunches, dinners and sports bar atmosphere. The décor is lots of wood and muted tones with local historical pictures and articles on the walls. Where they score a homerun or touchdown is with their sandwiches and in particular their hot... I had lunch with family at the Ale House recently. The food was good with a very friendly staff. There was a good selection of beer on tap. The place was getting a pretty good crowd by about 12:30 this day. I would recommend this place for a place to have lunch in Hoquiam.

Stopped here with friends and had a good meal with excellent service. The only negative is that the burgers were a little over cooked.

Food was a surprise. The burger was perfectly cooked with a great grainy mustard, excellent pickles, and special bacon (not just plain but pepper bacon). The pizza was also special not just ordinary bar food. It was hand made with thin crust and great toppings. Did I mention the Garlic & Parmesan Fries?!!? Beer was much better than ordinary pub/brewhouse... More

We stopped here for lunch. Based on TripAdvisor reviews we each ordered a burger. Each was served on a large sandwich roll kind of bun which dwarfed the actual burger. The menu claimed the burgers were 1/3 pound. No way.

Nancy, the waitress, is amazing. The food (we had the burgers, the chowder and the skillet), the beer and the pie are amazing. We came back two nights in a row because we did not find a place as nice in Aberdeen or Westpoint. Totally recommend it.

Recommended by our RV park, this is a great stop for anyone in the Grays Harbor area. The menu selections are tasty and feature local seafood items. Combined with cold beer, we had a great lunch.

Asked the waitress if the fish and chips were good and she said yes. Well she was wrong! The fish might have been good but there was so little of it that it should have been called batter and chips. The batter was bad as it absorbed grease and was quite hard. The fries were the best part of this... More
