We had lunch here and everything was a little off, except for the friendly and attentive service. Our French press coffee was weak, the huge hamburger was dry, and the water had a strange flavor. This is an interesting restaurant and bar above a very old general store, but the setting was better than the food.

Went for dinner with friends. Menu offered typical pub fare like burgers and pastas. Special that night was meatloaf. Husband thought it was good, but he's had better. My friends liked the food, but didn't think it was particularly special. Place has a casual funky atmosphere and decent wait staff, but I suspect the full bar may be the real... More

It was really crowded so we thought it must be reasonably good. Boy were we wrong. It was a high priced, bar food joint. Maybe it's the drinkers that are parked outside. Most items are more than $15 including mediocre hamburgers. I had the Sunny Tuscany burger with chicken. It had two small artichokes, some provolone, wilted arugula and some... More

The food is OK. The service is alright and it is clean. There are so many other places to eat in the area that are better. A nice family owned store.

We love coming here for dinner or lunch. The staff is good and there is a variety of food choices. I have tried several of the entrées and liked all of them.

We loved the fish and chips here and the pasta. Service is great. Everything is very fresh. You sit in a rustic old dining room above a general store. The ambience is very friendly. People gather here at the bar to cheer on the Seahawks. I also really enjoy their deli sandwiches. Check out the produce in the general store.... More

Our group of five stopped here for lunch and had a quick, inexpensive good tasting meal. They have several tv's as it is kind of a sports bar (but I'm sure they don't want to known as that). Just a fun litlle local spot to get a beer and a good meal.

This is a nice little restaurant and bar above a tiny old-timey grocery store. Best things on the menu: Fish tacos, Shrimp Carbonara, Bean Burger (for the vegatarians), and the French Fries. The people are great and food is good.

Recently had three dinners and enjoyed each one. The baseball steak was excellent, the grilled salmon sandwich delicious, and the chicken with penne very good. Wine and drink prices very reasonable. We tended to arrive around 8pm, and there usually wasn't a wait.

We lived one mile from this adorable, quaint, rustic general store with bar/restaurant upstairs. Nancy and Cookie are the nicest people and brought a fun and tasty gathering place to Greenbank. Service is excellent, food is great and they serve the best Whidbey Island tea around.
