Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I am very happy we listened to the reviews! My mom and I stopped by on our way through town. Tasty food and very friendly servers. We enjoyed the lunch fajitas and Mexican pizza appetizer.

Wow! After a very long day of travel from the east coast, I was in the mood for Mexican food. Selected El Paraiso Mexican Grill and was totally pleased. I was warmly welcomed and seated, and given a bowl of corn chips and salsa. My...waitress Susana was cheerful and attentive, my steak burrito came out after a short time and it was huge in both size and flavor! The sour cream and guacamole on the side made it just perfect. A great dining experience for an out of town traveler, lots of locals as well. Great Food, Great People!More

We were in the area for a comedy show and wanted a bite before the show. The atmosphere was very cheerful, the wait staff was very friendly and smiled genuinely. The service was fast and the food was surprisingly good. I have the Ceviche and...it was a generous portion and the flavors were outstanding. My partner had the Enchilada Verde and was also very pleased with the portion and the flavors. The Salsa they bring to the table had a nice bite to it which made the Margaritas we ordered taste so refreshing. We will defiantly go again.More

The restaurant was incredible. The fresh tortillas when you walk in were outstanding. I had steak chimichangas and my colleges had the skirt steak. The meal was fantastic and the service was excellent.

This was probably the best Mexican place I had outside of CA lol. Obviously CA has the best Mexican cz it's a border state and what not. Thus when I travel to other states I usually don't expect the same "style" if you will. ANYWAY....This place was pretty darn good. It was 5 of us and we all had entrees with drinks included for a tota of about $115. Make of that what you will. BUT, the food tasted amazing. The portions were pretty big and they were open to exchanging sides for others (I.e beans instead of salad). The workers there were extremely nice. The service was extraordinary. The ambient was pretty chill. It was a Tuesday at noonish so usually people are at work or something. Would I return? ABSOLUTELY. Make sure to check them out and then give us a follow on our travel instagram/TikTok @thehungrynomadzMore

Worst service I’ve ever had. We walked in last night to grab some late dinner after the Everclear concert. After no interaction with the woman who sat us, she said “I can’t serve you alcohol because you are intoxicated”. We absolutely were not (we each...had 3 regular size cans of beer over a 5 hour period- not even buzzed). I asked her what basis she had for saying that since we hadn’t even interacted with her and she would only say “I can serve you water you are intoxicated”. She then said we could talk to the manager so we said yes please. He came over and before we could say anything said “I’m busy I don’t have time to talk to you”. I again asked why we were told we wouldn’t be served and why they thought we were intoxicated. He said “You were at the concert”. Which, unless he had us followed, he would have no way of knowing where we’d come from, and as well, I didn’t know going to a concert immediately meant you were drunk. It was like being on candid camera. They were busy so I guess that seemed like a good way to turn away business as we left after being treated so rudely. I would never go back.More

Delightful Mexican restaurant with an extensive menu and a very friendly, courteous staff. Enjoyed some of the best Mexican food we've had in a long time.

They are a gluten free safe place to eat. Their enchilada sauce is home made and uses cornstarch instead of wheat flour. My husband had the fajita chicken burrito which was not gluten free and was very tasty. I ate the grilled fish tacos which...were very flavorful and perfectly seasoned. We had lunch size and the portions were large. We will definitely be returning!More

The staff is very friendly. The dinner carne asada burrito was very tasty. The carne asada was well seasoned and tender. The burrito had a lot of meat. No skimping here! The chicken enchiladas verde lacked flavor and were a bit tough.

The food here is good. The salsa is a too spicy, which is a shame as I think it would be good if it wasn't so dang hot. We will return.

I love good Mexican food and I love this location. The atmosphere is authentic and they spent a bit more for carved seating. It's the little things that make the difference. Fresh tortilla as you enter, always a great touch and large servings of grat...food. And it is within about 100 steps of the Funko HQ store front door.More

Nice decor..carved chairs for small booths giving privacy. Downtown location makes it easy to access. Plenty on free and pay parking nearby. Fast service. Reasonable prices. Good food! We will go back.

We enjoyed our meals of Chicken Enchiladas Mole and Chicken Flautas. However, the server was very slow to bring drinks and did not check back on us. It was a while before our empty plates were noticed.

If you see gluten free food on the menu they will likely make up what you want, they are very accommodating but i do not know the answer to your question.
