This is our traditional venue for Saint Patrick's Day when the offerings on hand include traditional Irish dishes like corned beef and cabbage. But this is a great place to go anytime, for lunch or dinner. In warmer weather, there is a nice outside terrace.

My sister-in-law and I went here for dessert and coffee to celebrate, and everything was excellent! They even had live music going on that night. John is always there with a smile and makes D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S cocktails and drinks. He made me a custom coffee drink called a Warm Angel with espresso, Frangelico, Kahlua and some other things. Fabulous! Also, their... More

Four of us stopped for breakfast on a busy weekday. We ordered a variety of egg and bready entrées. The wait staff was friendly, service was great and the food came in a reasonable time. Very filling offerings and we took away leftovers. The interior is a historic saloon like setting which is fun and enjoyable. It was a good... More

It's so rare that all of the family enjoys their meal. But, at Skylark's, it seems everyone hit the jackpot. The Rueben, creamy pasta with bay shrimp, Goliath burger, beef stroganoff, French dip, and cheesesteak were all yummy. The fries were crisp and not greasy. The service was good. The desserts were appealing. We enjoyed the expresso cheesecake, chocolate decadence,... More

When visiting a city for the first time and hungry, always ask the locals where to eat. We did just that and Skylark's was highly recommended by an artist working at Good Earth Pottery (another great visit!). We'd missed lunch and it was nearing 4pm so we sauntered in and enjoyed a quiet and richly appointed, warm environment. Service was... More

Always good food, or drink. When it is necessary to go to or thru Bellingham, we always plan to have breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Old Skylark Café. My wife prefers the lower level, but both grand settings to enjoy a meal. Never had anything but delicious food here. It is like a place from the past, the way... More

We arrived at 5:30 for a beverage with friends and left at 8:15 after the first set of the three-piece Jazz combo. Skylarks is in the Fairhaven district of Bellingham and that speaks to the venue. The only part "hidden" is the phone both beside the brick walls just south of the door. Service was very good. Food was good... More

Great atmosphere with all the characteristics of an old inn. It had a lovely fire warming us on a rainy cold afternoon too. The service was friendly and helpful in helping us decide what to order. And the food was excellent. I had a creamy pumpkin bisque that was wonderful and a grilled cheese sandwich. My friends had the salmon... More

Went here with my wife and kids in the middle of the afternoon. Food was good, waitress knew her stuff and was very accommodating. My son had the clam chowder and really enjoyed it.
