Absolutely the best food in Bellingham. Everything is locally sourced and as fresh as possible. Ciao Thyme is open for lunch with many gluten free and non-dairy options. They are also famous for their community dinners and cooking classes. The Incognito Dinner is a favorite....More

YUMMMY! Everything is fresh and handled with such care. The menu rotates with the seasons, majority of the food coming from local farms. The chefs are always being creative and doing things the hard way to make it taste better. Every time I go I...More

Over the years, we've watched Ciao Thyme grow and develop into the best eatery and food school in the whole area...including Seattle. A labor of skill, sensibility--and, yes, love--this place, this food is an affordable treasure!

We experienced really great food at Ciao Thyme. So many different pizzas - Gorgonzola and pear, corn grits crust (gluten free) - and a number of craft beers on tap. The ambience is casual and pleasant with just the right level of music. The pizzas...More

A food-knowledgeable friend suggested Ciao Thyme but on entering I was underwhelmed: you come in through their deli department with food-to-go coolers and a small table. Huh? Well, it's just where you order. I ordered the tapas plate and glass of wine (a reasonable $15...More

The restaurant was nearly empty today when we visited. The food was delicious, though a bit different than expected. I had Thai Tofu Salad. It was fresh and flavorful, but I had expected some level of spice. It had a light vinaigrette. Service was friendly...More

Driving between Seattle and Whistler, I have often stopped in "midway" in Bellingham. Too often, it has been in a disappointing restaurant that offers more in water views than quality food or service. Yet another Internet search at a rest stop for Bellingham. "Ciao Thyme"...More

Menu is very limited but excellent. Only the freshest ingredients are used. The meatballs over polenta was very satisfying and tasty. What made it more interesting was the peppers served with it that had just a touch of heat. The chicken tagine is not traditional...More

Description
June 1st marked the final day of the Ciao Thyme lunch cafe and current version of the CT2GO program. We have loved serving you in our cafe for the past six years. We’ve made many new friends, seen tons of happy people as they discovered Ciao Thyme, had a wealth of fantastic employees, and produced over 72 unique lunch menus! Whew! We added a CT2GO program that sent meals out for family dinnertime, business events, supper parties, holidays and celebrations. As we begin our 18th year in business, it’s necessary that we reimagine and refocus on our mission to bring great food to Bellingham through events, classes and culinary experiences. We need your help to spread the word that Ciao Thyme is NOT closing—just refocusing. We must change our tack, and we hope that you will sail into the future of Ciao Thyme with us. Please sign up for our mailing list, so you will be the first to know what’s new at Ciao Thyme. Who knows what we will cook up next!
