Well worth calling in to have a crepe. If you are waiting to catch the Alaska ferry they are only ten minutes walk up the hill.

I saw the sign outside saying Polish pierogi and had to stop in. I'm Polish and the handmade pierogi were wonderful. I also had a delicious cabbage soup with a nice sourdough bread. It was a great lunch and I hope they put more Polish...More

Thank you Ann, I'm glad you enjoyed it. We serve golabki as a special, more often during the fall and winter months, so you'll have to keep an eye out. Magdalena posts all her daily specials on FaceBook. See you again!

Best crepes in Bham. Love everything I've ever tried at this place. ALL of the crepes are delicious both savory and sweet. I love the lavender lemonade and they make delicious lattes/tea/coffee as well.

Hi this was the second time we tried Magdalena's as we felt the first experience wasn't great but was probably worth trying again. The second time was even more disappointing than our first try. The server placed at an awkward table to start off, there...More

We stumbled upon this place by chance walking towards a waterfront in Fairhaven district while visiting Bellingham. On our next visit to Bellingham it was a "bullet-proof" place to each a brunch. Always warm welcome and hello while entering the cafe. They work hard and...More

There are crepes and then there is Magdalena's. Magdalena's Creperie is a place to totally unwind and just appreciate delicious flavor and artistry, and genuine warmth -- cooking with love, as a friend of mine used to describe it. I have taken family and friends...More

Totally unexpected. Recommended by shop owner (fused glass) on corner. Ordered a ham & cheese then a dessert crepe. Delicious

My husband and I have gone here several times for breakfast and brunch. The food is always great and the service is friendly. The wait may be a while during the busy times because it's not a big restaurant and the food isn't fast, but...More

I would like to bring a group of about 23 people for brunch on March 20th for a no host event before a performance at the Baker. Is this possible?

Description
We were visiting Bellingham. Our daughter told us about a creperie she'd liked but couldn't remember the name. We couldn't find it on the web, but did happen upon Magdalena's which is in Fairhaven, a quaint suburb where we planned to stop anyway. We decided to give it a try and it was wonderful. Inventive crepes, savory and dessert, fresh and delicious. We shared a veggie crepe, made properly with buckwheat; potato and cheese perogi, and a smoked salmon, avocado, sun dried tomato, and horse radish creme baguette. We were too full for a dessert crepe, alas. Very reasonable prices, especially considering the quality. And Magdalena proved lively, personable, and charming. The cuisine is basically Polish, but lightened and re-invented. I took some photos for TripAdvisor readers. Almost worth a trip from Seattle.
