I'd have to agree with many of the other reviewers. The beer offerings at Chuckanut are a welcome contrast to the heavy British- and Irish-style beers you get in so many other places in Bellingham, although you can also sometimes get those at Chuckanut. I enjoy something that's not nutty or chocolaty, or worse, pumpkin-ish. At Chuckanut, I always have... More

In a sea of hop forward NW beers Chuckanut stands out. Clean, precise, delicious European styled beers and pretty damn good pub food. Chuckanut is not to be missed.

I like this brewery and beer because they are both more oriented toward European style beers. They have more to offer than very hoppy ipas across what they offer. The food is also good, service nice.

We stopped in for an afternoon tasting and enjoyed the Eight Taster. Our server Melissa offered a great education about each of the beers in our flight. We didn't get a chance to sample the food, but loved the atmosphere. If we lived nearby, we would be regular customers!

The beer was good - the food less than impressive. I got a pulled pork sandwich. The bun was good, the pork - the little there was - was ok, the slaw was very vinegary. My husbands rueben sandwich was reported to be fair.

Been here several times, very good food and beer! Decent children's menu as well to keep everyone happy. It is a smaller place to get there early. Order the sampler to test all of the beers! Rueben is wonderful, as is the clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl!

We had a coupon for $2 off a growler so dropped in on a cold December day for lunch (and growler refill). We've been here before so know the pizzas are good with a great thin crust. We had the bacon and blue cheese pizza which was really good, twinned with a British Nut Brown Ale and a British IPA.... More

Working brewery with great beers that are really distinctive and some quirky dishes. I had sausage -dried and pickled egg, Chowder and a top pizza. Nice atmosphere and am antidote to the usual chain or burger or pizza joint. Nice evening
