A quick stop for coffee and what is usually delicious muffins, just out of the oven. Not at my last visit! Ugh! Only day old muffins---stale, crumbling and $3? Really? Then I was asked to wait, not sure why, then I was met with grumbling, told that @10:30 am, no fresh muffins. No apology; what was out was all they... More

New Rose Cafe has a loyal Bainbridge Island following. It is a popular spot to grab a bite to eat and linger over coffee with friends.

We visited the B Garden twice in 2 weeks recently. We found the café to be a bonus to a wonderful garden/nursery. The first time we were there we had just coffee and a muffin. Good enough. The second time, after reviewing a number of comments, we ate lunch there! Goodness. It surpassed our expectations. He had the turkey and... More

Tasty and fresh sandwiches, salads, soup, coffee, dessert, etc. that you can eat at a table in the dappled sun or, if it's raining or cold, in the covered porch area. Playground nearby for little kids, and the whole Bainbridge Gardens nursery surrounding you.

This is a splendid spot to meet for lunch. During inclement weather, they have a sheltered area. Enticing menu with sandwiches, salads and more. Tour the green houses, and look at the sculptures, etc. This is the site of the Japanese gardens which fell into ruins during the internment years. Junko, the son, revived the business. His ashes were spread,... More

A bit out of the way but if you're at Bainbridge gardens exploring definitely stop. No indoor seating though so only worth it if the weather is nice.

This small 'hole in the wall' is literally just a small outcrop inside the Bainbridge Garden plant nursery. Very quaint spot,,,surrounded by the plants and small greenhouses. Decorated very nice. Shady at different times of the day. Be prepared to wait a while for your warm sandwiches, but it is worth it. We had the turkey avacodo and turkey cheddar... More

This place is a little like a food truck, where you order at the window and sit outside or in the heated side building. It is in the Bainbridge Garden Nursery. Chicken tortilla soup is yummy, homemade, with chunks of avocado. Food is delicious, though a bit expensive, considering it is self service.

Fun, funky atmosphere with locally grown food made from scratch. We saw the organic, locally grown salad greens being delivered after being freshly picked. The un named salad is phenomenal. Would love the recipe for the salad dressing. The carrot, zucchini, ginger muffin is a meal in itself! We'll be back often to enjoy the gardens and tasty food. Bravo!
