Took the short ferry ride to Bainbridge Island and then a very short drive to SuBI. Definitely worth the trip. Food was very good. Service was wonderful. What a great discovery!

My wife and I finally got around to visiting Subi to "check out" their Japanese food. The menu has so many choices. It was interesting to note that some of the items on the menu were Korean food. We had the appetizer of the day and then my wife ordered the bento meal (which has several choice options) and I... More
This is consistently good and getting more popular all the time. We are finding that it is best to book a reservation so you don't have to wait in line for a table. Once seated the service if friendly and efficient. The food is top rate with an excellent sushi bar. Creative sushi specialties as well as traditional Japanese and... More
Very fun place to get sushi or tempura, they do a great garden roll and have a nice atmosphere, just a little fancy but no too much!
Some unique choices here, the food is quite good and service friendly and efficient. Always reliable for your Japanese food fix on Bainbridge Island.
The food was awesome. I look for different things when I am reading reviews for sushi restaurants. In this case, the average was just over 4, but all the comments about food were pretty much awesome. The complaints were about price and service, sow e decided to go. Service was not bad. We had food in front of us within... More
Visited SuBI for my daughter's Graduation gathering before the ceremony. Large party reserved in advance. The service was quick and friendly, the food was incredible as always, and we'll definitely be back soon. For an appetizer try the Avocado Tempura. It's amazing.
The sushi was delicious, the portions were large, the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was great for a working dinner. The restaurant is situated so you can have a quiet dinner or a large gathering. I will definitely come back!
We usually eat their lunch special menu that comes with at least 8 or 9 different food items, all of which are freshly made, tasty, and healthful. At $9, we feel almost apologetic eating all these goodies. We tried their sushi and udon at dinner times also. Calm ambience and quietly efficient and friendly staff really enhance the dining experience.... More
There are tatami rooms, booths, communal tables and a bar. You can sit wherever you feel comfortable. We like to order tempura and sukiyaki, but I notice most of the younger folks are chowing down on the sushi and the selection is impressive. The servings seem large, so I need to go in a group to try a variety.
