We visited the restaurant for lunch on Sunday. There was no kid's menu, we were told the children could select anything on the menu and they could make a smaller portion for 1/2 price. Both children ordered the Mac 'n cheese and it was amazing. Everyone at the table tried the dish and agreed it was the best Mac 'n... More

Went for brunch this last Sunday and was pleasantly surprised that they had live Jazz that day to celebrate Ella Fitzgerald. Normally the Blue Talon is a favorite place to go to anyway, but this just made it even more fun and lively. I had a spicey Bloody Mary garnished very simply with a dill pickle slice. Lunch was the... More

Thanks for the feedback about the band last Sunday! We are going to start by booking them once every quarter but, with sufficient feedback and support, we'd love to make it a monthly thing! Your comments about Brunch are certainly appreciated and I hope folks appreciate your taking the time to share so they can make a more informed decision... More

The biggest selling point of Blue Talon is the service. It is friendly, professional, and gracious. My mother has some mobility issues, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. I ordered the chicken and mushroom crepes, and they were perfectly prepared. My Mother ordered the meatloaf sandwich, but the meatloaf was rather bland, and the serving of less-than-modest portion. ALL was... More

Hi Celeste, Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts online. Other readers appreciate your input and, while I think we all would like to see nothing but rave reviews for our own businesses, what we all want as readers is honesty. I wish I could take credit for the coffee but all that praise should go to ILLY... More

This was a very cold day in Williamsburg - below freezing. We stopped here for lunch. Had to wait a bit but had a great conversation with the bartender where we got some good recommendations for lunch. I had a tomato tart with goat cheese and salad. My husband had an open face pot roast sandwich. Great comfort food on... More

We visit Blue Talon each time we're in Williamsburg. The food is good but I always leave thinking it's over priced!

Hi Gary, Thanks for taking the time to share. We can certainly appreciate your comments. Pricing is always a tough issue. We want to be able to offer great dishes but we need to find ways to keep them in the "affordable" zone rather than the "expensive" zone. We like to think we do a decent job but your note... More

This restaurant was one stop on a food tour we went on. The Macaroni & Cheese we tried was delicious! Try not to lick the plate if you order it. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive.

This establishment was recommended by a family meember who lives in Williamsburg. it is in colonial Williamsburg proper near the marketplace section. It was crowded and had to wait a few minutes to be seated but we had a great lunch. My wife had the crepe which she said was outstanding. I had the soup and sandwichlunch combo and it... More
