I took my grand kids here after touring Jamestown Settlement. The food was good, food choices were varied and healthy and there was both inside and outside seating. My only complaint was that I paid just under $24 for a hamburger, chili dog, 2 orders of fries and 2 small sodas. Next time, we'll bring our own and eat outside.

Nice outdoor area to eat and enjoy the scenery...standard food that you would find at a cafeteria...was a little too busy with the school crowds

The macaroni and cheese was "Ok" by our Mac and Cheese conoseur teenager. Grilled cheese also was "fine". Not high compliments. The peanut soup was mediocre, carrot cake was dry and tasteless, not the best money we spent all day. It is too bad because the rest of the facility is top notch! Even the gift shop has something vor... More

This would be a 3/5 but a staff member who was extraordinarily rude to my wife made it easy to rate this visit at 2 (my first ever). At the counter, when my wife asked the server to lift the lid off a soup tray so she could see it for herself, the server shouted at her. Very awkward and... More

The 3 grandchildren, my husband and I each chose our own lunch. You order at several different counters for sandwiches, soup, pizza, salad, desserts. The staff was helpful and accurate on how long the pizza would take to bake. The restaurant had cups and water to help yourself. No charge. My husband says maybe we paided a few pennies for the cups.We... More

This time we tried the Brunswick Stew and a Chicken Caesar Salad. Turns out they were delicious choices. The Brunswick Stew was chock full of meat and veggies the way it should be (altho' it was made with chicken instead of the traditional rabbit and squirrel! ;D ) The day was brisk, so the stew was a perfect way to... We chose sandwiches and chips to eat in the outside dining area in late December which provided a terrific view of the James River. This also allowed us to have our small dog with us as we noticed others had a dog as well. The service was very fast as well as friendly.

This is a great place to eat! The food is fresh and very tasty! I read somewhere they had the best fries and I must admit their fries are WONDERFUL! It was a little expensive as most tourist places are, but if you share an entree (some are big enough to share) you should be fine.

Got a large pizza for $20. It was tasty. It was fast and friendly service. There was plenty of seating. We actually took it to the picnic area outside and ate it outside of the main seating area which was outside the gates. There were a lot of choices for drinks.

Thank David L
