I loved the pulled pork and their mild bbq sauce. Their bread is also good. Their ribs seemed a little dry (some people like them that way) and needed the bbq sauce. Ribs didn't have a lot of flavor, like the pulled pork did. I also liked the chicken, baked beans, and potato salad. All the food was very good.... More

We think they have slipped in the quality and taste of their various BBQ dishes. Ribs pretty skinny, catfish dried out, potato salad a bit mushy but cold slaw still great.

We ate here and had take out the next day for my father. Good barbecue is hard to find here. The beer is really cold, but not great.

Red Truck has a truck load of fall flowers as their mascot. The tempting aromas match the delicious looking baked goods inside. Look for the red truck cookie. The town stops by for a quick visit and coffee and pastry. Pretend you are a local.

Stopped here for lunch while waiting for my car to get an inspection. Wings and onion loaf were good and well cooked. The server was really great!

Food similar to all others in this franchise Southern rib joint. The ribs really are good and they serve in a variety of styles. Also excellent salads. Service is fast and the prices are right. Good beer selection.

Worst BBQ ever! Restaurant was overheated, food was bland, overcooked, overpriced and just awful. Server was very nice, but that's about the only good thing. When the iced tea is the highlight of the meal, its not a restaurant you want to go back to. It has now become a joke between daughter and I.

Stopped by this restaurant the other day, really wanting a good bbq. I was not disappointed. I had the bbq sandwich with cole slaw. Yum. I loved the vinegar based sauce. They have a hot hot sauce which I tried just a dab of, and yes it is hot. The bun for the sandwich held up to the bbq and... More

I had a three course meal here and it was impossible to finish. The jugs of soda are cool because they huge. The food was hit and miss. The potato salad was terrible. The soup was very good. The pork sandwich was good and the ribs we're alright. The service was nice. The ice cream wasn't very good. Overall it... More

Not that it is saying much, but this is one of the few respectable restaurants in Warrenton. BBQ is good. Wife loves their ribs. Overall it is OK.

Description
Red Hot and Blue is a full-service, casual-themed restaurant chain and caterer featuring delicious award-winning ribs, Memphis-style barbeque, smoked wings, and Southern sides and desserts. The atmosphere is steeped in legendary and contemporary blues music and delivers a large dose of Southern hospitality in a fun and entertaining dining environment. History: The first Red Hot and Blue restaurant opened in Arlington, Virginia in 1988, started by Lee Atwater, Don Sundquist and friends. Don Sundquist was from Memphis and served in the House of Representatives and as governor of Tennessee. The late Lee Atwater was an amateur blues musician and political figure that managed George H.W. Bush's successful race for the presidency. These men were friends who longed for authentic Memphis-style barbeque and great blues music. Unable to find that combination anywhere in the Washington, DC area they decided the only way to get it done was to open a restaurant of their own. The Memphis-style barbeque chain celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 2013 by partnering with a charitable organization at 24 different restaurant locations. The yearlong celebration culminated in the presentation of thousands of dollars in donations to local charities. The Name: The name, "Red Hot and Blue" is taken from the title of D.J. Dewey Phillip's radio show that that aired on WHBQ-AM in Memphis, Tennessee in the 1950s. This radio show launched the careers of Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash and broadened the audience for artists such as BB King, Muddy Waters, Robert Cray and Rufus Thomas. Red Hot & Blue Dine-In, Take-Out and Catering. Hickory-smoked Memphis-style BBQ, Ribs, Wings, Beef Brisket, Smoked Chicken, Seafood, Full-service Bar, in a Family-friendly atmosphere with a heapin' helpin' of Southern Hospitality!
