My wife and I had dinner and the food was great (and a good change from the many great seafood restaurants in Virginia Beach). Would return.

My wife goggled restaurants near Atlantic Av while staying in town for a Cheer competition 3/12, 3/13. My wife know that I do not like chain restaurants as they don't offer a new experience. This restaurant actually shares a building with a Subway's sandwich shop. I was not very excited by the looks from the exterior of the restaurant, however... More

This was our first visit to the restaurant. We got there early and was seated right away. The café is small and filled up very quickly. We tried one of the appetizer special of conch fritters. They were delicious. My husband had the Mahi fish tacos and he just raved about it. I had the Ropa vieja sandwich on Cuban... More

We stumbled across this place as it was near our hotel. It was so delicious and ranked #28 on Trip Advisor and I can see why. It's very small and intimate I don't know what they do in summertime. There must be a line around the block! Highly recommend. The food was perfectly prepared and beautifully plated. We will be... More

This place while small and unassuming from the outside is nothing short of amazing! While it only seats maybe 20 or so people at a time it is definitely worth the wait. Empanadas were delicious as was all the food we ate. Mojitos were crafted just right! While I want everyone to know how great this spot is I wouldn't... More

I have been coming here most Friday nights for a while and have never been disappointed. Every thing on the menu is wonderful. But tonight, I had an experience that could not pass without acknowledgement. I actually didn't have an entree, but instead had appetizers. The chorizo sliders special was outstanding as it always is. The incredible surprise came with... More

This is one of my go-to restaurants because it's one of the best in the area. Both lunch and dinner are excellent. I've had the ropa vieja (?) sandwich and dinner, the fish tacos, the cuban sandwich. I always order the black bean soup and the fried plantains. I'm not a fan of mojitos, the drink, so I have no... More

This was an amazing dining experience. The café is small and cozy. The food is AMAZING. We had the cracked olives, empanadas, stuffed plantains, pernil y arroz, and mahi tacos. All were FANTASTIC! The service was great, as were the mojitos.

We were greeted upon arrival, provided daily specials (all of which were amazing), great suggestions, allowed us to share plates, wonderful service, food was great - great experience! Look forward to going back again! Mojitos were very good - excellent selection of rums.
