Every time I visit Virginia Beach I always make a point to take my family here to eat. Good service, great food, and a homey atmosphere. Always good food! I prefer to eat local before a chain any day.

Breakfast is a great place to start. Lots and of locals. Few complaints about cost except me. Other meals focused on seafood seem expensive but again few complain because the food is tasty and authentic. There are plenty of tables and not much interest in...More

We eat breakfast there quite often. The food is good, and the staff is very friendly. This restaurant is in a resort area, so it can be very busy at times. We feel like part of the family there.

Local at its best. We went on a Sunday afternoon, so not a big crowd. Their bloody marys are fantastic, and their flounder po-boy is unbelievable. Great local ambience, wonderful service, and fresh, hot food. If you want to feel like a local, and eat...More

The food was good. I had the crab cake platter and my husband had the fried oysters. Nice local place with down home feel. Our waitress Kayla was very attentive.

There is no mention on their website or in their online menus about a Friday buffet. On their menu, they mention that they have a buffet style fish platter that feeds 4 for $160 every night. Give them a call. (757) 426-2397

I don't believe so, but you could always call and double check. It is more of a local place, rather than upscale fine dining. But food is good.

Margie and Ray’s Restaurant was established in 1964 as a small country store and tackle shop which was owned and operated by Ray and Margie Blanton. This landmark building located on a dirt road, now known as Sandbridge Road, served as a convenience for local Sandbridge residents. The store was passed on to their son Thomas in 1997 where it was renovated into a small seafood restaurant. Over the past several years Margie and Ray’s has become known as one of the top seafood establishments in the southern end of Virginia Beach. It continues to be operated by Thomas Blanton.
