Highly recommend the Seafood Jambalaya. The Fried Seafood platter was excellent as well. Good portion sizes for both. But when I'm at the beach... when the prices are the same, I'd rather eat on the beach where the atmosphere and scenery is better.

The best part about this pub/restaurant was the cool Beatles pictures and stuff hanging all around. It was very casual and had a European pub feeling with lots of dark wood all around. There was also a nice outside covered seating area for extra dining and people with pets. The food was average and the service was really very good.... More

I cannot say enough good things about this place...I have added to one of my faves when I am in the area. Food was awesome, service was awesome and we caught live music. The performers were great too. Atmosphere great. No complaints to list. We had the ruby red margarita, the calamari, shrimp and crab legs entree with a side... More

Super cool, casual atmosphere. Olivia was great and extremely attentive. Now, the food, need to talk about the amazing food. We ordered the Abbey Crab Dip and the Avocado Caprese appetizers. I will be dreaming about these dishes when I get back to New York and will be anxious for my next trip back to Virginia Beach to have it... More

We opted to eat here tonight due to inclement weather and the the close proximity to our accommodations. We were so surprised that Abbey Road Restaurant offers a tasty menu that is complimented by fantastic service. Their she crab soup is a must! The hint of sherry makes it one of the best crab soups in the area. The shrimp... More

Went here for lunch during our spring break trip. all of our other restaurants that we went to were absolutely awesome and fresh. Abbey Road was not any of this. Wife ordered a burger cuz she was tired of seafood which was very average at best. I ordered a blackened mahi sandwich which took "blackned" very litterally. I was served... More

All Beatles inspired theme makes this a fun experience for a meal. They have gluten free bread so you can enjoy your favorite sandwiches. It is convenient to the beach and parking access was easy. We will definitely be back!

It was twenty years ago today, Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play..." and it was almost thirty four years ago today when the bands began to play, right here at Abbey Road. Owner Bill Dillon has been bringing the best in great food and live entertainment to the residents and visitors of Tidewater since 1982. Our fresh seafood, beef, and pasta dishes are summed up by The Virginian Pilot's reviews: "Abbey Road Leads Diners to a Satisfying Evening (1983)" and "Abbey Road is a great pub in the midst of a tourist location. For locals it is well worth the trip any time of the year (2008)." Hampton Road's Port Folio Magazine says: "Abbey Road is the Best Acoustic Venue in Tidewater, offering the best and the most variety..." After three years in the food service industry Bill decided in the fall of 1982 to open his own restaurant in the resort area of Virginia Beach. Heavily influenced by the Beatles when growing up, thanks to his two older sisters who listened to their records all the time, he decided to name it 'Abbey Road' after the last album the Beatles recorded (although 'Let It Be' was the last released) before they split up in 1970 (thanks, Yoko). Many national, regional, and local musicians have performed at Abbey Road since 1982, including: Richie Havens - the man who opened Woodstock, Ronee Blakely - toured with Bob Dylan, Livingston Taylor - James' brother, The Ventures -theme from Hawaii Five-O, Rick Roberts of Firefall, - wrote & sang many of their #1 hits, Robert Hunter of The Grateful Dead, Robbin Thompson & The Robbin Thompson Band, Gove Scrivener, Lewis McGehee - toured with Bruce Hornsby, Lisa Noel, Mike Proffit & The Mike Proffitt Band, David Petretto, Keller Williams, Suzy & The Naturals, Catapult, T.K. Llegs, Acoustic Ceiling, Chuck 'Coyote' Larson & Robbie House & Norman Harrell of Snuff, and many, many more...
