Food and service always excellent at the Bee! The grits are amazing! Love that they now have valet parking! You still have to get there extremely early so you don’t have to wait an hour to get in! But be prepared to wait because you...just never knowMore

Everything was fabulous from the food, drinks and service. The place was busy and we waited 20 minutes but so worth it. There is an outside area to wait with a bar which was really nice.

We had the best brunch at this restaurant mid-week without a reservation. Great menu- hard to make decisions. A couple at a nearby table who lived locally recommended food options. Everything was delicious. The waitress gave us local dinner suggestions. An absolute must visit in...the area.More

Expect a wait, but it’s worth it. Spend the time sipping a specialty drink from the outside bar and wandering the grounds of this converted 1919 farmhouse. The experience starts as soon as your seated. Friendly, knowledgeable waitstaff will explain the menu, and remind you...of the fresh ingredients being used. I had a Lt. Dan omelette. What seemed like a half a pound of fresh crab meat was cooked and folded into perfectly cooked egg, then topped with fresh shrimp and holandaise sauce. It was perfect.More

We had breakfast there this morning. Excellent. My wife had stuffed french toast which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had "Lt Dan" - an omelet with shrimp covered in hollandaise sauce. Very, very good. The service was top of the line - friendly, helpful. If there...is any issue, it would be that you can expect to wait a while depending upon time of day. We got in right away (9am) but those with bigger parties than just 2 might have a wait. PS - down the street is the Military Air Museum with most aircraft in flyable condition. Great visit.More

Have come here many times for Breakfast. Highly recommend, but come early because it'll get packed. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, we have tried their omelets and pancakes on multiple occasions and haven't been disappointed. They get our toddler's...approval as well as he always cleans his plate!!!More

A unique restaurant in Virginia Beach. Don’t worry about the long wait- lots of outdoor seating while you wait . Tasty breakfast selections for all in a homelike atmosphere .

5/5 star food experience. Everyone loved their breakfast orders from wraps to french toast. Biscuits and the sweet butter were dreamy. Don’t pass up a cinnamon roll, even if you need to take it to go! Speciality iced lattes were lovely! 4/5 for overall experience....We arrived 9:30 on a Friday and were told a two hour wait. It was a full 2 hour wait before we were seated; don’t be fooled by the lucky reviewers who snuck in in half the time! Be prepared to wait. I commend the restaurant for trying to make waiting seating pleasant with ample spaces and an outdoor beverage area. If they had small snacks for purchase for kids that would have been perfect, but for now come prepared with kiddo snacks! I wish they took a limited number of reservations. Otherwise I have to say I was disappointed in the indoor atmosphere. It was SO loud, and I am not that person to ever be a grouch about noise. Our table wobbled and the floor was very dirty. The experience once seated didn’t match the loveliness of the food and beverages. All said, I would return at a non-peak time and opt to sit outside. Happy breakfast adventures!More

As good as they say. Great food and service. Although there was a small wait for a table, they made it comfortable. Very quaint place and would definitely visit again.

A favorite brunch spot! Our DIL always wants to go to brunch at The Bee & The Biscuit when visiting! It’s worth the wait, we enjoy walking to the coffee shop when we’re waiting plus they serve beverages outside on the patio. The food is...delicious and the atmosphere & drinks are enjoyable, their mimosa flight is always a hit!More

Our waits tend to be long and can be hard on hungry children, so our best advice is to bring snacks.

Yes, the wait tends to be longer on weekends or holidays. If you come early around 8 am, the wait is shorter. Thank you.
