Stopped here because of reviews on Tripadvisor. Very unassuming place. No cars but we were early for lunch. Decided to give it a try. Excellent food! Husband said his fried oysters were some of the best he'd ever had. My fried shrimp was lightly battered & fresh. We're not big dessert eaters but ordered Coconut cream pie. It was "world... More

We love this little diner! We go for lunch and dinner often. Everything on the menu is delicious and desserts are homemade daily! I love their chicken tenders and onion rings!

I have ridden by this place several times & we finally decided to stop by & try it. I am glad we did. They had big juicy burgers. The butter beans were good & the onion rings were as well. It is small but very quaint & cozy. The staff was friendly & the service was good. I will definitely... More

Do not let the looks of the building stop you from entering as the place has really good food. We had the crab cake sandwich and the fried shrimp lunch specials with fries and onion rings and it was very good. The locals eat here on a regular basis.

On a day trip visiting local wineries and stopped here for lunch. Was quiet when we first arrived, but quickly filled up with locals. Our server was super friendly. The menu is pretty big. Enjoyed reading the story about the restaurant's history. Lots of dessert choices and they are homemade (see pics of coconut and chocolate cake)!! Large, clean restroom.... More

Good food, great atmosphere and very friendly people. It was more like a family reunion than a stop for lunch! We'll be back next summer with the DC Ramblers M/C.

We always feel at home! We have shared many meals at To Do Cafe with family that live nearby or travel from... More

We stopped at the To Do Café on a trip to Reedville in September, and I had the lightly battered fried oysters with fries. My partner had catfish with coleslaw. We enjoyed our lunch so much. The dinner menu for the night was being posted as we left, and it looked amazing! We had a chance to have lunch there... More

We always pass through Tappahannock on the way to Northern Neck, VA. If it's around lunch time we stop and eat here. I love the fried shrimp. My wife also always enjoys her meal. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. The edcor is nice and there is outside seating also.
