Macado’s has been one of my very favorite places in the world since high school. I’m now 53. I don’t even need a menu, the Coney Island has been my “go-to” for 30 years and had it again today. As much love as I have...More

Been eating at Macados since way back in the "80s. Always good! So glad it hasn't gone down hill the way so many of the other older eateries in Roanoke. This time I had the Crazy Chris wrap--buffalo chicken, provolone, lettuce, tomato, and ranch dressing--with...More

Family met up for vollyball tournament. 6 adults and 2 teens enjoyed a nice lunch. Variety of food was wonderful and everyone enjoyed the food! Service was good, food was fresh and will go again!

We were traveling and stopped here for lunch. There were 8 in our party, and we had to sit at a booth and a table, as they could not accommodate a group that large together. That was fine as they were right across from each...More

Interesting ambience, good food, good service, extensive menu with every sandwich variety known to man (try the Macado's sauce with just a hint of horseradish), reasonable prices. Smoking is permitted in a separated bar area that includes tables and booths.

The staff was incompetent, poorly trained, the food took over 40 minutes, there was a hair in the food, the food was burnt, they never gave us napkins, etc etc.. wow, what a bad experience. Very little in the way of recovery btw. The place...More

We have enjoyed Macado’s throughout the area for many years. I am not local to the area but my first experience was at Radford in the 90’s when I went to Radford University. I always look forward to returning to any local Macado’s when I...More

I appreciate when food that tastes delicious is consistent year after year in this regional restaurant. The mac and cheese had the melted cheese crust, the sandwiches were well constructed, and the drinks refills thanks to a great server were plentiful. Having a parking garage...More

My wife had wanted to go to a Macado's so we picked the downtown location. The place was fairly empty for a Sunday at 1:00 PM. Only two servers and a hostess on duty. Should have know things were not going to be right when...More
