Stopped in for lunch after visiting Black Dog Salvage. We enjoyed the D-Train with buffalo chips and The Cruncher with sweet potato fries. Both were excellent. Definitely worth a visit again!

We went to Black Dog Salvage and asked there for a good place to get a beer & a bite, they suggested Village Grill...it was close by. We sat at the bar and got the "redneck nachos"...De-lish! Several TV's with sports & such, and a real good home town feel. Everyone was nice...they even have several local brews on tap.

Make sure you save room for dessert. They have fried Oreos with a dip of ice cream. Trust me you want be disappointed. Next time... More

We actually went in for lunch twice in a week! The menu was nice and varied and included fresh smoked pulled pork BBQ from a food truck parked right there in the lot! I tried it and it was quite tasty! We also tried a burger which was awesome, a veggie wrap and a couple other things as well. We... More

I went to The Village Grill on September 13 with a party of 15. There busiest day is Tuesday because they have tacos from $1-3. They don't take reservations and can't really seat large parties except in the Bocci Ball area which they have picnic tables. Personally, I don't want to be cramped or sit where I don't have back... We asked the folks at Black Dog Salvage for a local place to eat before we hit the road again. They recommended this place and said they eat there often. My husband and I loved the food. Great pulled meat choices and sauces. Our waiter was so sweet he made us sweet tea to go. Moderately priced and good sized... More

The Village Grill was recommended to us by the folks at Black Dog Salvage which was the reason for our visit to Roanoke. Every item we had was delicious. Our waiter was great and even made us to go ice teas for our long road trip

We stopped at Village Grill for lunch based on recommendations from the ladies at Black Dog Salvage. We were killing time until we could check in to Hotel Roanoke, so we decided to give it a try. It was a smallish building, but it wasn't too busy when we arrived. The interior is nothing fancy, but they had a nice... More
