Our hotel recommended this place. We have a great Mexican joint in our home town so we are used to good Mexican food. This place was just as good! Service was great. Food was even better. Other than fast food one of the only places in Orange open after 9 pm we will go back and highly recommend this place!

We drive thru Orange on a weekly basis, but last weekend were going to visit someone in Stafford, VA and stopped in for lunch. It was just getting ready to let out with what turned out to be a hail storm when we got in and seated in a booth. We got chips and salsa (tasted good) quickly and drink... More

Our group went here for dinner and I had the beef tacos. The salsa and chips were good as a started. The service was fast and courteous. Everybody enjoyed their meals and the atmosphere. I'll be back.

The dining experience is what you expect for this type of restaurant. Not *too* Mexican, e.g. Menudo. Chips and salsa for starters, food is fast, good, and portions are generous.

My husband and I stopped by based on reviews we found from fellow travelers on Tripadvisor. We agreed that this was our favorite meal on our whole trip. Portions are generous, so you may not need an appetizer. We couldn't finish it all. Very friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Seemed to be a lot of repeat local customers.

We stopped here after visiting Montpelier...the place does not look like much the food was wonderful! The salsa was spicy and the chips were hot and fresh. My chimichanga meal was delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Family dinner here following the race. Quite a few of the patrons were young folks who had had too much fun that day. The staff handled them with respect and patience while still making our dinner enjoyable. The food is good, the service courteous and efficient. Will return. Thanks!

One of our family's favorite places to eat in Orange. They are always friendly and have speedy service. Not expensive at all.

While visiting James Madison's Montpelier, we stayed in Orange VA. We had dinner at El Vaquero West and weren't disappointed. We were warmly greeted and promptly seated around 6PM on a Saturday night. Our waitress was especially helpful, attentive and courteous. We started out ordering margaritas. We went for the 27 oz Texas margarita for $7.50 - a great value... More
