This is a very long way to drive for a small $20 lobster... I have been here twice now and probably had enough, and paid for their ambience.. quality of food was good and service was excellent.. if you're going for those you're at the right place. Tortillas are huge and good. Also, no credit cards.. lots of restaurant competition... More

If you are looking for a magnificent view with excellent fresh and delicious lobster? This is the place. Hand made tortillas with beans and a beautiful risotto, it is simply amazing. Very clean and nice ambience! Definitely a must when you visit Baja!

This place is a must. Just above a cliff, you can see incredible views if the Pacific Ocean. Food is great. It was my first time with lobsters. incredible taste and the side dishes: beans and red rice just made it incredible. Huge flour tortillas are just the perfect couple for the lobsters. Prices are just like most things in... More

Puerto Nuevo isn't the crazy value it was in times past; but it's still a fun meal in a great location at a decent price by American standards. we got there late, and they only had small and XL lobsters left, so--of course--we each had an XL lobsters. thirty bucks each, including all the appetizers and trimmings and extras. not... We took a cab to Puerto nuevo to have lunch every one fights for you. We walked in went up stairs the service was great but you pay for it. It's pricey. The flower tortillas made fresh are to die for . We had the lobster ,rice beans and a soup great food . My only complaint the price you... More

I love to go eat here every year for my birthday the food is so good! The lobster and tortilla soup my favorite are the little rolls they give you with cream cheese and jalapeños! Not to mention the great view right on a cliff!

I love Villa Ortega's. I went about 2 weeks ago with family before we went wine tasting. It had been years since I had been to the restaurant and it was delicious. We arrived around 11am and it was not crowded. The large outdoor seating was beginning to get filled, but we were sat immediately. We ordered micheladas, ceviche and... More

Place was huge. Servers were great, attentive and helpful. Got a table to watch the sunset. It's a bit hectic driving to it. Just ignore the street valets trying to get you to park and drive straight there. Valet park once you're there. Tip a buck or two when you leave. More food than we could eat. Different size lobsters... More

We had a good lunch and the food was good, I used to to Puerto Nuevo many years ago , it wasn't as big , and the lobster was fresh , now is all frozen it does not taste the same, the thing that surprised me was that when the check came it had a tax of 17% and the... More

I have been travelling to Puerto Nuevo, Mexico since I was a kid. I had not been for quite a while so I was surprised how HUGE the area had become. Villa Ortega's is surely the Queen of the area. Very beautiful main hall with giant party tables everywhere. We were led about 100 yards to the farthest patio which... More
