We come here every time we go to St. John's to visit family. My boyfriend's family has been coming here for years. Part of the draw is coming out here just to eat with the view. Recently though, it seems to be getting busier and busier and the food isn't quite as good as I remember the first time they... More

Fabulous view and the best fish and chips there is to be had. Always super fresh and done to perfection. A chance to walk along the beach and gaze over conception bay is an added bonus.

Local, very popular cafe that serves usual fish, hamburgers and chicken but its specialty is Fish & Chips. Seats about 20 inside and same outside. Order and pay at the counter and your number is called when food ready. Expect a bit of a wait during busy periods but F&C is worth the wait. Good light batter and a mound... More

After being disappointed by Ches's I was recommended to go to by the sea by a local I know who has lived in St. John's all her life. She did not disappoint! They don't overcook their fish and the flavour was excellent along with the chips. Do any Fish'n chip place on the Rock give lemon wedges with their meals?

Delicious food, large portions and reasonably priced. Quaint and small with a great patio looking out over the water. If your stopping here bring cash as that's all they accept.

We stopped here for a bite to eat before our drive to the airport. This was a good choice. There was a great view, service was fast and friendly, and the fish and chips were great.

Awful experience. First walking in you could see the dust hanging from lights, which we decided to overlook. Upon entering the restaurant we were told it was cash only, and there was a debit machine there which costed money to withdrawal from. On ordering we noticed the prices were a little high, especially onion rings (which were pre-fab not homemade)... More

If you are looking for cozy ambience go somewhere else! This a a family run place that does fish and chips (or variations thereof) and does it very well. Cash only and you order and pay at the counter. We were served quickly and looked after throughout. Fish was fresh and I had my first fish cakes in many years.... More

First place we tried for fish and chips. The drive from St. John's is scenic and not difficult. Courteous staff. The view is amazing and worth the drive. Meal was okay, avoid the tartar sauce it nearly ruins the meal. Not great value for money, but tasty crisp batter and not greasy.

Thank Ryan M
