I visited on December 02, 2016. My wife and I arrived at 1:50 pm on our way from St. John's to Gander. We gassed up in Whitbourne around 12:00 and were going to stop for something to eat but as the roads were getting worse due to the snow, we decided to wait until Clarenville to stop for lunch. I... It was frantically busy during our visit. But the food was delicious once it arrived after over an hour.

We visited there two weeks ago against my better judgement. We ended up leaving as the staff were unprepared for the lunch hour!!!! We were seated and no one showed up to take our order as we watch people come and go... the bathrooms are particularly understock and unclean.. Always believe in a second chance... not anymore.... Go to Breen's... More

Travelling across the island a couple weeks ago we decided to stop at this Irving for lunch. My wife went to the washroom and promptly came back to the table. It was too dirty to go in. We ended up leaving and going to another place. I have eaten here over the years and its always been pretty good but... More

I've stopped in here a dozen times of the past 10 years and finally j have to rate this place because I have always felt like its the dirtiest Irving ever! We stopped for a quick washroom break and I've noticed it before to they it is really dirty no lighting and barely any toilet paper and they can't even... More

If you like to eat breakfast any time of the day, this is the place. They also have great Newfoundland style pea soup. Portions are ample. The selection is pretty much the same as all the Irving's - unremarkable but filling. I won't order their coffee - for some reason it always tastes too weak. The staff are friendly.

Restaurant is older and well established in the area. It is clean and the service is good. The menu selection is adequate for the traveller looking for regular food. Portions are good and the cost is fair. Some homemade items such as soup are very good.

Had breakfast there with a party of 4. Fast service, great food, big portions, trucker-style. Pirce is average, but everything is more expensive on the Rock.
