Brilliant! A restaurant shared by locals and tourists a like, and I can quite understand why. We enjoyed great service, fantastic food, ice cold beers. Portions were more than generous, and fantastic value.
The chef recommended the lamb for my main course, it was awesome,...top recommendation.
I'm pretty sure we'll be back before our holiday ends.More
We found this place behind the Atlantico, the waitress greeted us with a lovely big smile. We ordered our meals, but she was concerned we had ordered to much! Her English and our lack of Spanish the chef was called and explained he thought we...had to much, so we readjusted our order. And boy when our starters came we saw why, both excellent, then the mains, wife couldn’t eat all her delicious chicken cordon blue, I managed all my beautifully coked pork. No room for pudding just coffees. We also had a bottle of wine all for under €60, like other reviewers said a local place with very good food and well priced. Shame we found here towards the end of our stay, but a must visit place if you are in town.More
This restaurant is so good we have eaten here 3 times already in 11 nights.Lots of locals eat here for a good reason. Staff are friendly and the food outstanding with very generous portions. It is also very clean and very reasonable prices. Main courses...come with your choice of 2 sides. We chose the grilled vegetables and Canarian potatoes with mojo sauce. I have had the Pork chops twice which are so juicy ...perfecto. The chcken cordon bleu is amazing too and wow the beefburgers are of a great quality and massive ! Best restaurant in Corralejo in our opinion.Just off the main strip at back of Atlantic Centre. You may not have a view of the Bay but are not ripped off accordingly. Thoroughly recommend.More
This place is a bit off the tourist trail for some reason. The menu is printed in multiple languages and some of the staff speak good English.
The €10 lunchtime menu del dia is outstanding value. Available on weekdays (but they are currently closed on...Mondays for staffing reasons). There is plenty of choice, after the wonderful aniseed bread and alioli, I had Canarian Salad as the starter. Goat's cheese, walnuts, sultanas with tomato and lettuce in a balsamic dressing. This was my second choice as the tortilla de patatas had sold out.
Then for the main, two huge chunks of Sierra fish with the usual papas arugadas. And flan for dessert.
Unpretentious but seriously tasty food at an incredible price. Just a shame it lost its sea view.More
Just had the menu del dia at 10€; 6 or 7 options for both starters and mains, there is something for every taste. The lovely smiley waitress brought a basket of fresh warm bread and ailio, should resist but never can! Both of us chose...the pea and chorizo soup, we were expecting a whizzed type thick soup with a bit of chorizo, no way, it was a really generous portion of peas in a smoky stew with tender, non salty chunks of chorizo, potato and hard boiled egg, sounds strange, tasted fab. Hubby- fried fishes, various fish with crispy juicy skin on, wrinkly potatoes and side salad, he loved every morsel, mine roast pork with home made creamy peppercorn sauce, home made chips and rice, pork can sometimes be dry, this was tender and tasty.
By now we were both stuffed but couldn't resist a bowl of cold rice with cinnamon, creamy and a lovely texture and a coffee mousse.
We had 2 large Stellas and 2 coffees all for 28 Euro, exceptional value for the quality, will be back soon. Thank you! 😁More
