We had a delightful Tapas style meal here on 10/6 (we were tired and in grazing mode! ) everything you could want and the Padrones were perfectly salted! Non chewy Squid ! 4 of us had 12 dishes (plus 2 mains) and it was a...More

Lovely setting and helpful staff but the food was disappointing as was the wine. Probably wouldn’t return for a second meal.

We visited Xelini in May 2018 with friends. Interior architecture is rustic. The atmosphere is nice. Some bigger tables to host more than six people. Service was quick. Menus in various languages. The homemade croquetas were dry. Not the melting and tasteful filling some other...More

We’ve been visiting the Xelini during a road trip along the coast. It has a very nice terrace. Unfortunately there is no spectacular view as in other restaurants in Deia, but the nice flowers and decoration makes it up. We had various Tapas and a...More

Great food and service was excellent. I'd recommend the lamb dish, but the Tapas was also very good. House red wine was superb.

We're half-way through one of those back-to-back tapas table deliveries of just-right-portion super-yummy stuff when a couple takes the table next to us. One look at the menu, a bit of whispering, a furtive look to check the waitress has gone, and then they're so...More

so delicious we went twice - or maybe it was even three times. The spanish omelette was the most perfect - I can still feel its saltiness in my mouth!

Tapas are excellent. Great choices all were done well. Great wine list too. I'd have eaten there every night... Actually, I think we did..

Visited Deia on the service bus from Valdemossa. While Deia is a very picturesque village there is not a great deal to do. We called in for a quick drink before the next bus but, after seeing what was on offer, we decided to delay...More

Description
Xelini Restaurant “Tapas” Restaurant located in Deia (Mountain town located in Mallorca). The best local and Mediterranean cuisine. Xelini Restaurant is situated in a property which is 130 years old. The tasteful decor together with the stone walls and wooden beams and the addition of beautiful garden provide the perfect setting for an innovative menu of Mallorquin Cuisine. The psot-modern decor does not detract but rather lends to the cosy family atmosphere as opposed to some of the more popular tourist eateries on the island. Preserving the timeless ambience of Mediterranean cafe society where people sit and pass the time of day. Although Deia is a relatively small village nestled within Mallorca’s Sierra de Tramuntana it has enjoyed a world-wide reputation due to some of it’s more illustrious vistors and residents from the literati and gliterati of the nineteenth and twentieth century.
