We are all inclusive at the Bonaire. We wanted something different. We chose this restaurant as it was within walking distance. Food was excellent, and reasonable.

Being on a self-catering holiday we decided to try Janet and Johns for dinner on our first night. We would normally avoid anywhere that seemed too English as we like to feel we are "abroad" but it turned out the restaurant's name was a bit misleading. There was a lovely view of the harbour, nice background music playing and the... More

Because we were half board at our hotel, we only used the restaurant for drinks but from what we saw the food looked excellent. The owner, Lorne was very friendly and welcoming and the bar/restaurant became our favourite pre and after dinner rendezvous.

We are in that lovely position of only needing a light lunch due to the great food at our hotel. We walked to Cala Bona but the café we headed for had a lump with tattoos and no shirt sitting sunning himself so we moved on and found JJs. We each had a lovely latté and a sandwich for me... More

Ate here on our first night in cala bona. Menu was varied, did think Steak bit overpriced though. We had paella, which was very nice but slightly too salty. Worth a visit.

We went the second week of March and only a few restaurants had opened. Luckily one place that was open was here and we enjoyed it so much the first night that we went again the following night. The main reason for our second visit was the steak offer they had on. Now this is always a risk as my... More

If you holiday in Cala Bona then a visit to Janet & John's is a must! So many items on the menu to choose from not including the daily specials. Lots of snacks on offer from baked potatoes to toasted sandwiches (the chicken tikka sandwich served warm is particularly tasty) if you like Tapas then they do a pick &... More

We came here for dinner on my husbands birthday as it was busy and every other restaurant we passed was empty. We normally have a rule that we don't eat anywhere remotely English whilst abroad to force us to eat the local food but we are glad we broke our own rules! We felt very welcome and service was quick.... More

Went to Janet and Johns for breakfast which was a build your own, always handy when you are a veggie. It was faultless! So impressed with the menu that we reserved a table for the evening. The specials board is extremely good value and changes most days. I had the vegetable paella for 1, hubby had black angus steak. both... More

Came across Janet and Johns at the back entrance to the restaurant and thought the menu looked nice so went in for dinner, quickly realised as soon as I saw the front of the restaurant that I had eaten here a few years previous and upon searching through my previous reviews came across my 5score rating from 2012.... Nothing has... More
