visited during the day for coffee/cake which was very good... views down to the coast are spectacular and well worth a visit... Also visited in the evening and whilst food was good it did not make up for lack of view... would recommend for breakfast/lunch or evening meal if still light.

If you are in the Mojacar / Garrucha area of Andalucia take the time to drive up into the hill top village of Bedar for lunch. The village is about 15 kilometers in land from the resort of Mojacar. In Bedar there is a lovely family owned restaurant called the Miramar. The restaurant is on the hillside of the village... More

It was a wet Sunday, we fancied a lunch somewhere nice and Miramar was recommended to us. A family run restaurant, with a slow cooked shoulder of lamb for two as a speciality of the house that is renounced in the area. Just the ticket and we thoroughly enjoyed it. There looked to be other delights on the menu too.... More

This is a friendly family run restaurant which makes its mark because of the superb lamb it serves. You get a whole shoulder for €24, enough for 2 or 3 people they say- we reckon enough for 4. It is beautifully slow-cooked in stock with vegetables and herbs, then served sizzling hot on a terracotta dish. Eat with fresh veg... More

Four of us visited for a late lunch and finding that the Mirimar was just about the only place open on our short sightseeing tour. But we were happy it was, as welcome was warm - including wheeling a heater across to our table as weather was chilly! - and food was really good and plentiful. Delightful venue and good... More

This restaurant was visited with a coach party that had spent the morning in Garrucha, and we had the menu del dia. The staff coped extremely well and the value was very good. My hake fillets were really too much for me to eat (but I managed!) Very nice indeed

Miramar is a family owned and operated restaurant and has a fantastic atmosphere as a result. The views across to Mojacar are stunning and the food is divine. We had two small kids (4 and 2), two grandparents (late 70's) and us as parents. There was something for everyone on the menu. Recommend the paella.

In the middle of Bedar with good views down to the coast but difficult to get a table by the window. Very popular and busy on a Sunday so can be quite noisy with large family groups. The roast shoulder of lamb (a huge plate to share between 2 people) is delicious.

We visited Miramar because of good reviews and we were not disappointed. The view from the restaurant is amazing. The day we went it was windy so we sat indoors. We opted for the Menu del Dia at 10€ for 3 courses. The food was lovely, all of us had different choices, and the service was good. It was very... More

Visited the Miramar last night specifically to try the lamb after hearing so many good things about it. I can honestly say that all the hype is well deserved as it was superb tender and falling off the bone with fantastic flavour. If you're in the area go there and try it you will not be disappointed.
