Bit of a trek or a drive but really wortg it. Reclaimed village in the mountains. Great welcome and friendly staff and unique location and atmosphere. Book in advance if you can to avoid disappointment. Meat dishes mainly tasty rustic fare. House salad to start was great with mixture of fruits vegetables and nuts with oil and vinegar. I had... Loved the atmosphere, food and the staff are so attentive but discrete. It's a hit with families and large groups and booking would be a good idea. A bit of a challenge to get there but well worth the visit. Superb restaurant in an amazing unique place

Friend was driving so we didn't have to worry about the access road. Fantastic lunch - husband had wild boar and I had the special chicken in yoghurt. As we probably will never go back we also shared a starter of mixed croquettes. All lovely. Desserts - all home made - we shared the apple cake, pear cake and cheesecake... More

After hiking in the mountains surrounding the village, our large group was treated to a several course meal. Bread, wine, salad and the amazing wild boar in paprika sauce main course. This meal ended with a moist carrot cake. Because of the rustic surroundings and the fine meal preparation, this is one of the most memorable meals I have had.... More

Challenging access so take care but well worth the effort. Prior booking recommended as it is a long way to go if fully booked. We were four adults and all food was very tasty and the house red & white wine was delicious. Staff were really friendly and went out of their way to look after everyone.. Highly recommend and... Not the easiest of places to get to, about 3km down a dirt track. The village is being regenerated and the restaurant is the heartbeat. Great local food and home made bread. The prices were reasonable and the place can get quite busy, especially at the weekends and holidays. The village is very popular with hill walkers who invariably finish... More

A great choice of local cuisine combined with professional friendly service. Homemade bread is great with their olive oil.

Walked a couple of miles along a beautiful road/ track to the small village that had been abandoned until 1998 having been cleared by Franco in the 1940s . Friendly staff- Our Family shared starters - black sausage, green peppers and spinach croquettes- with a homemade loaf of bread - delicious. Main courses roast lamb, chicken in spicy yoghurt and... I came here for lunch and I loved everything about this restaurant. Firstly, the location although a little hard to reach is well worth the drive. The menu includes a little bit of history about the place which was very nice to read. Everything is written in both Spanish and English. The waiters were very kind and helpful when explaining...
