The staff is super friendly and the sushi is outstanding! We had an amazing dinner and it will be my number one sushi place in Norfolk! Thank you!

Delicious food, every time. My favorite is the eel and the tuna. Great seaweed salad too. The kids love yaki soba and shu mai. And the nicest people own and operate. You can't go wrong.

Good food, very pleasant ambience, wonderful owner and staff... Try the Udon soup, super on a cold day to warm the spirits... The teriyaki is excellent as well... Sushi bar has everything...

After a six week recovery at home I needed something special to tease my palate. Sushi popped into my mind and I chose Kotobuki Japanese restaurant in Norfolk. I discovered that their sushi is first class (that means fresh and tasty and presented properly) the sushi guru (I'm sure there's a name for a Master carver of raw fish) knows... More

My wife and I have been there twice now - I should have commented before, shame on me. This restaurant proudly offers great food and terrific service - highly recommended.

Very friendly atmosphere. The cooked food is delicious as is the sushi and tempura. If you want real authentic soba, you have to try the Okinawan Soba noodles. Sushi is affordable and very fresh.

This is a hidden gem. The decor is kind of spartan, but they have two kinds of seating: Western and the zashiki (which is nice). The owner is almost always onsite and she is delightful. The quality of the food is probably above average. Because I order vegetarian (some kind of tofu entree), I can't speak to the meats or... More

I've been here twice, one of take out and the other for dining in. The service was great both times with the hostess and waitress both very attentive. The food both times were just ok, I've ordered the salmon teriyaki dinner, not bad, not great an eel roll and a couple of their specialty rolls ( not memorable).

My husband and I have been looking for a good sushi place in Norfolk, so we went to Kotobuki last night. This place has the warm feeling of a family owned restaurant. The Japanese style seating was a neat experience. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. The portion size of the edamame and sushi rolls were smaller than... More

Finally, a Japanese restaurant owned by Japanese. Too many supposedly Japanese eateries owned by other nationalities. We stopped by for lunch today and had salmon, tuna, squid, and spicy tuna roll for sushi. Also had tempura udon, and it was delicious. Portions of sushi and udon were more than ample size. We will be back to try other menu items.... More
