we had the special of the day: meatloaf. but not just any meatloaf, it was bison and duck, and it was fantastic. beautiful, old building, lots of ambiance. but the dinner was the best. perfectly seasoned, generous portions, fresh rolls.

I had dinner at Freemason Abbey with a group from work. It was my first time, and the setting is definitely interesting/unique. I had filet for diner, and it was just okay. Nothing special. Once is probably enough.

Not many interesting or novel dishes. Same as everywhere- salmon, tuna, chicken, steak... Yet, dishes are tasty and wine selection OK.

Yes! We can accommodate almost all allergies, we always ask that you let your server know of your specific allergies so they can communicate to the kitchen and we can ensure every precaution is taken on your meals.

We at Freemason Abbey always recommend reservations, just to be on the safe side! And we are about a 7-10 minute drive from Douglas Wilder Performing Arts center

Freemason Abbey is 4 blocks from Chrysler Hall, it is about a 10 minute walk. Often guests will park in the Chrysler Hall parking garage and walk to us for dinner, then walk to the show so that they are close to their cars... More
