My husband and I had a fabulous dinner at this quaint restaurant! The service was superb and the food delicious. We called to make reservations (not needed on a Thursday night) and they asked us if we were having any celebration. We told them "yes" and upon our arrival we were greeted with congratulations from our hostess and waiter. At... More

We've been here several times and this time was a big, BIG disappointment. Food was served warm instead of hot, service was slow at best (we had to get up and ask the hostess to send a waitress over to get our drink order placed), took forever to get our bill and it was wrong, then found out that the... The atmosphere is very unique in a Church setting with very nice interior and exterior look. I've visited here often for lunch but not for dinner. The she crab soup is very, very good, full of lump crab meat. They have great lunch specials, a variety of options on their menu, something for everyone and reasonably priced.

Freemason Abbey is such a nice restaurant in a beautiful old style church. And the food is also excellent.

The food was very good. Our appetizer arrived prior to our cocktails ? Our waitress was not interested in serving us cocktails. If you are interested in having drinks with your meal, do not go here. They don't care if you want to drink alcohol. There were plenty of open tables, this issue had nothing to due with too many... More

Excellent food but atmosphere and history of building made experience an occasion rather than just a meal. Perfect holiday venue.

My wife, daughter and I had our traditional Christmas Eve dinner last night. We arrived, apparently just before the real crush. The food was very good. We started with the fried oyster appetizer, crab soup and Caesar salad. All were excellent. We were just beginning our appetizers when our entrees arrived. Our server apologized, saying the kitchen was unexpectedly fast.... More

Went for dinner at the Freemason Abbey with four people. Parking is available next to the former abbey. When coming in the stunning turn around of a church building took our attention. Seating is available on ground and first floor. Since we had a reservation, we were seated immediately. For those coming as walk-ins or when waiting for their table... More

This was a great atmosphere. We were a part of 9 and were treated very well. I had a selection of local brews that were available... I also enjoyed a seafood bisque (I believe--my memory of the exact dish is not clear, it may have been a chowder). For the main I had a Filet cooked medium rare. It was... More
