Borjo is a nicely cool sublime coffeehouse to visit, Atmosphere that Hemingway and Kerouac would've been seen, Artsy walls, comfy chairs and a rather unique menu and vibe for all to enjoy, Offering lattes, pastries, sandwiches, cookies, and drinks made with a bean. Intimate setting, wi-fi spot, live entertainment at times, fireplace cozy, Starbucks should pay attention, for sure, Meet... More

This is a nice local coffee shop. Fairly quick service and willing to make even the strangest of requests for a latte. They'll try it. Shop even serves adult beverages in the afternoon for a "happy hour". You can get some breakfast and have a nice chat with family/friends at the large gathering tables. A terrific spot for students and... More

My family were in the area as of the result of a family member being hospitalized. We had been in the hospital for over twelve hours- and decided to venture out for a change of atmosphere. It was one hour from closing on a week night. Although it was near closing time we were welcomed genuinely as we entered. The... More

I am not a coffee drinker. But a enjoy greatly pastry with sugar free vanilla steamer. Prices are reasonable but atmosphere is terrific. Management is friendly and helpful for planning small events. They have live performances including poetry readings enjoyed from comfortable chairs and in the winter the glow of a fireplace. Frequently there is a mix of professors, students... More

They have huge muffins that are never too hard. I usually get one of the wraps and the "Pink Lemonade."

We ordered several of the sandwiches off the menu to feed a hungry bridal party as they were getting ready. Everything was exceptionally fresh and delicious! If we're in the area again, we would definitely eat there again! Tip: this is within walking distance from the Springhill Suites near ODU. If you're staying there, walk to Borjo rather than go... This is an average indie coffeehouse. They're right across the street from Starbuck's, and since Borjo's coffee is either equal or inferior to Starbuck's, I suggest you skip it.

Excellent coffee, great atmosphere, and a locally-owned shop! The staff is awesome, the sofa areas (one with fire place) are great, and the tables close to sockets... yay! Also free wifi! Coffee is also delicious!

At Borjo Coffee House, you will find college students, professors, locals meeting friends, DWO (dogs w/owners) outside. The energy of congeniality is contagious! Local art is displayed and rotated monthly. Here the staff is super friendly and gracious. A great menu of eats/drinks for any time of day. Bring your laptop and plug into it all!
