Great food but worst service ever. They didnt even want to serve us. If you are not here for the chicken dont come. Very bad servants with attitude

You must go here for the excellent Chicken which it is famous for. Dine in or take out. This place is cash only but there is an A.T.M. outside front door if you need it.

One of my favourite chicken spots in the Algarve. Popular amongst residents which says it all. It’s pretty fast service so it’s not a long sit down meal but it’s good for friends or family.

Had a takeaway from here, really quick service and so much food for the money! This is best value for money in the area and the food is unreal! Would definitely recommend and will be returning!

What can you say about Marufos. It’s the best chicken shack on the Algarve. Never a bad meal and always full.

Do not touch this restaurant with a barge pole, the rudest, mist ignorant staff you will ever encounter. No acknowledgment and swear as they pass by you thinking we do not understand . Great chicken and chips!! A down to earth, hip and happening place to eat with the locals. Quick, easy and tasty chicken and chips (there are other items on the menu) but the chicken is a must!! Picture doesn’t do the taste of it justice....Go try! 4 people- ordered chicken & chips with a tomato salad for 4 people and 4 large beers. 52 euros and worth every penny! The service is spot on, and the food is superb. It's also known as the...chicken shack. They do a comprehensive menu including steaks and fish, the salads are also very good, but its best known for its Piri Piri chicken. People come from miles around, its very popular locally with lots of families enjoying the food. They just opened a Marufo 2 opposite. An UBER will take you there from near the marina for around €5.00 and pick you up in around two minutes when you leave.More

Food was fresh, nonchalant and was not trying to be something it wasn’t. It was delicious, a lovely calm environment and the waiters was professional and polite. Definitely worth a visit when in the area! This place is an experience in itself, it’s very fast paced, service is exceptional. Go early to avoid long queues!
