A wonderful meal - clearly, not your average tourist restaurant. Not a visitor in sight except for us (3 people) - all locals.... Doesn't this say something about it?! Bear in mind that little English is spoken here but if you persevere then wonderful service and food is available. This is mainly a fish restaurant where the catch is displayed... More

I had heard and read so much about this restaurant, both good and bad that I finally decided to give it a try. We went on saturday January 21st for a rather late, celebratory lunch. Because it was my birthday we ordered sparkling wine first and some shellfish and finally one of their 'famous' rices with shellfish. Service was very... More

This is an old established family restaurant serving mainly fish and seafood. During the week at lunchtime they have a dish of the day for around €8 depending on what it is. At weekends and in the evening it's advisable to book. I don't think they take any reservations in the summer as it gets so busy. Good fresh fish... More

This restaurant is great for seafood - you can't go wrong! A bit on the pricy side but once you taste the fish you will understand the price!!! The grilled prawns were so delicious one of the best iv tried! The staff were friendly and seemed honest with their recommendations which was really helpful. I wish I wasn't so full... More

I've been just yesterday and the quality of the food was very good! Plus the staff is very friendly and the prices are not as high as you might think. It's a very good restaurant and I world definitely go back.

On a very rainy Saturday already late for lunch, we were received with a warm smile. The restaurant was still super busy, but we had a table ready very quickly. We had seafood, high quality and really tasty. The toasted bread with butter was incredible. We ended with a seafood cream soup, that provided the comfort needed to face again... More

Had lunch at this very popular and busy Portuguese restaurant. As always the fish was very fresh and well cooked. At lunchtime they do a dish of the day. It's always worth asking what the dish is, you can order a half portion if it's not something you're familiar with, a great way to sample the local food, at around... More

We visited o Jacinto for the first time for a birthday dinner, and it was a perfect choice. Pulpo Salad couldn't have been better, Monk fish cataplana was fantastic and enough for 3. Good choice of wine, nice setting, attentive, quick and friendly service, and finally price was more than adequate for the quality of food. We will be back... More

We were really disappointed by the service of this restaurant. They let us stand about 15 minutes in the entrance area. We had the "arroz de marisco" for two. The food was ok but too expensive in relation to some other local restaurants with the same dishes.
