Nice place on top of the hill with great views over Batsi port. Nice breeze and setting. Food was ok. Fish was fresh (koutsomoura), but when we asked how many per portion, we were told 5-6 fish, there were 4 small ones. Pasta with shrimps was over cooked and pork chop hard to chew -almost impossible. Nevertheless it was worth... More

This Batsi fish taverna used to be at the end of the beach nearest the town, but note that it has now moved up to the junction of the Batsi by-pass and the road down into Batsi. The views are stunning, but that's about the best that can be said for it. The food is unreliable - I had very... More

While vacationing in Batsi, Andros someone recommended this restaurant as being the best for fish, so we decide to spend our last night there for dinner. The taverna is located up on hill with a spectacular view of the crescent-shaped Batsi Bay below. The fish we ordered was just delicious. Service is very good. Iakovos the owner, was a fisherman... We enjoy the evening or the late lunch at Giakoumis FishTavern very much. He is an expert in cooking fish like no other in the vicinity. The only negative is the head waiter who is always so laid back that he looks totally unwelcoming. if you disregard this then the experience is always a positive one.

We came here following the advice of our hotel keeper because we wanted to eat some fish. We chose our fish from the counter with the waiter/owner and got it grilled. It tasted good. As staters we got a salad and the fava bean cream. My girlfriend found the last one really good. The price is average: for the fish,... More

This was our favourite restaurant in Batsi. Traditional fish taverna opposite the beach. You can go to the kitchen to see what the fish is for that day, and choose how you want it cooked. We had lovely meals there, tuna kebabs, saganaki prawns, sardines, also delicious salads, tomato & haloumi. Really worth giving it a try, saw same people... More

At the town end of the beach next to a baker, octopus drying in a screened hanger, this unassuming psarotaverna has a wide range of seafood and side dishes: a proper old school taverna that I really enjoyed. Leonidas is very welcoming (pronounced Lay-oh-nee-dass), with good English (hoping soon to retire to Georgia where his wife is from) and Giakoumis... More

I try to find positive in all experiences ... his place was terrible. We asked what the fresh catch of the day was and the waiter told us to go find a menu and read it. Any restaurant that makes me feel like they're doing me a favor by serving me is deleted from my list. Shame on them.

Nice location, in the heart of Batsi opposite to the beach. Food not so great and it's pricey. They can do much better when it comes to service and food quality since we paied 50EUR (2 persons) for a salad, 4 appetizers and drinks.
