Had a lunch stop here today (15/2/2017) Great service even though the staff were very busy. We had a cheeseburger & a salad along with some wine & beer & coffees..... €62 While not exactly cheap it is in relation to other restaurants nearby. Worth a visit!

Had a lovely lunch yesterday on the Sitelle Terrace in beautiful sunshine. Chose the entrecote steak at 24 euros. Average price for mountain restaurants in the 3 valleys it seems. Really tasty steak, a good size portion and it came with nice homemade chips and a simple green salad. Saturdays are never usually busy on the slopes in Meribel so... More

Don't go here expecting to eat any time soon. Service is chaotic (probably stemming from the boss rushing around telling the staff to stop doing what they're doing and do something else) and you may need to physically interpose yourself between a sever and their wandering target. Once your food arrives it is ordinary. nothing particularly wrong with it, but... More

This restaurant, under previous management, was one of our favorites. We would ski in, go to the self serve counter or get a hot chocolate at the bar, and have a great lunch. Today we learned the management, new management, has changed everything, for the worse. While the burger was honestly pretty good, service was arrogant, slow and unapologetic for... More

I'm always keen to try new places on my annual 3V skiing trip and the Sitelle had always been previously passed by at high speed en route from Platieres to Mottaret. So I stopped for an impromptu lunch when skiing alone one day. Approaching 2pm the place was virtually empty so finding a seat wasn't a problem. I ordered the... More

Like most of these mountain restaurants food was poor and expensive. Burgers undercooked, hot dogs cold, but our veggie said nice pasta dish. chips seem cheap at €4 but small fast food style amount that's why. coffee ok as was hot chocolate . We didn't return.

Not cheap, but very pleasant. We enjoyed the views. The service was excellent. We had delicious French onion soup for lunch with cheese and croutons. (However, was a bit odd to be charged for the milk to go in the tea!!4€!!!...never happened before) But we would recommend the delicious warming onion soup!

9 eur for a toddler portion of dried pasta with tiny bit of bolognese sauce - keep asking for cheese it will eventually arrive and if you are lucky before your last forkful! 10 eur for a burger you wish you didn't order with fries made 2 hours earlier and reheated in the microwave One could give them a benefit... Sitelle ahs the best croisants in the 3 valleys in my opinion. Try stopping around 10am for a nice hot coffee and a freshly baked croissant . Sit on the terrace with the sun just coming up over Monta Vallon. Sometime it's just nice to be alive.

This is a self service restaurant so I can't criticize serving myself. Spacious, and clean but the soup was very mediocre and the accompanying bread roll took a couple of minutes to arrive because it was being cooked - rather strange cooking technique as it arrived cold. As noted elsewhere the chips must have been triple (or more) cooked as... More
