We went here on the recommendation of our Inghams rep after we'd asked where we could get good fondue. Two of us went for the beef fondue (dipping on oil), one of us went for the beef cooked on hot stone and I went for the cheese fondue. All the food was incredible and loved the DIY cooking! Service was... More

We visited in early Feb around 730 pm. Hadn't booked and managed to get a table as a walk in. It's a busy restaurant with high turnover and was packed. It's a bustly busy place with good atmosphere and very informal, the tables are very close together. The menus is extensive - We had the cook yourself beef and turkey... More

Really nice and warm restaurant, i went there with a couple of friends end we enjoy everything we order, starting with the Pierre chaude, the fondue savoyarde and the raclettes, it was delicious. Then we try the crepes that where also really good. its a place to go and try the local specialities.

We ordered the hot stone, despite the premium price tag, and were incredibly disappointed. It said it came with three sauces and those sauces turned out to be mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard in greasy, squeezy hot dog bottles. The 'green salad' was iceberg lettuce and half of the very stingy portion of meat was turkey. The restaurant was cramped and... More

La Galette is a fantastic place to go for anyone visiting Meribel on holiday. I visited this restaurant numerous times whilst working the ski season and they delivered fantastic local savoyarde food everytime. The Raclette cheese and the fondues are their speciality but they also do pizzas and other lovely dishes. Extremely friendly staff and owners and would definitely go... More

Really good local favourites like for due and raclette. Much better than other places in town that serve the same stuff. Always packed so need to book.

Traditional food at meribel prices. Clothes stank of cheese after! Really busy when we were there. Fun times were had though.

Having visited Meribel for years, the go-to restaurant was Le Refuge. La Galette is now the favoured one. Pizza, omelettes, raclette, cheese and beef fondues, hot stone cooking and of course les galettes. Plenty choice for 2 or 3 visits in a week. Crepes and Isle Flottante to finish. Perfect skiers fare. Oh and a word for Marilene and the... More

The menu is fairly limited but has fantastic galettes and crepes as you'd expect from the name. The only downside was our bottle of Gamsay de Savoie which was very rough. We were offered a couple of shots of Genepi to make up.

As a group of 10 friends we had a catered chalet and ate out for just one night of our holiday. We booked this place but we were all very disappointed. The place was so packed you could barely squeeze through to get to the table. The waitress was rushed off her feet and practically threw the food and drink... More
