We went to eat in the early afternoon. The waiting time was excessively long for the few customers present in the room, and the Charolais burger ordered was worthwhile (slices of industrial cheddar American style), almost no condiment/sauce (especially knowing that it costs 19€). The cheese plate was also quite lean for the Award (€9), this one having only 3 poor bits of cheese. The food is still pretty good, and the staff was nice.

Very poor service and not a very nice restaurant.

Large restaurant with many tables inside and outside. Lacks atmosphere indoors where we were seated. Service was absolutely so slow! Only for we had nowhere else to go, we would have left. The food, when it finally came was mixed. The mussels were very poor. They were over cooked and dried into the shells. The children’s meals were good. My mum ordered the lamb skewers and she said they were delicious. I had a fish dish. The fish was incredibly salty but the salad was nice. Would I return? Definitely not!

Very tasty fresh mussels with potato chips, Provencal style, with a good dessert. Simple terrace right by the beach access. Belongs to the Sunêlia campsite, where we had a pitch. Nice staff. Reasonable price.

OK food for a beach day, and quick service. The food was well prepared, and fresh. There was a bit of ambiance missing isn the restaurant while the restrooms really need an upgrade.

Visited twice during our stay, we can highly recommend the mussels and kebabs, food outstanding on both visits and the service was excellent. We tried the desserts, they are amazing, the nougat sundae and fruit flan with cream was like no other I have tried. Would highly recommend. Staff very helpful. Lovely location just off the beach.

Good value for money

Had a short break at Camping Interlude (our 7th visit in the last 10 years) and ate at La Grillerade three times. Twice we had the "gourmet" menu - 6 very tasty, meaty, oysters to start - skewers of delicate (ie non chewy) squid with thinly sliced chorizo - and gorgeous puds. 28 euro for 3 courses. The other time we shared two dozen oysters - as good as we've had anywhere in France. All meals washed down with half a carafe of the local white (or two on our last night). Staff friendly and professional.

Lovely surprise

Tucked away behind the beach this restaurant is part of a campsite. We walked along the beach to it and this added to our enjoyment of the evening. The staff were friendly, service was good. The set menu was excellent value. We had fish soup, lamb skewers and apple pie , all good. Wine was reasonable price. Would recommend a visit .

Not a good experience

From the start things were not good. The place was almost empty bu5 we had to wait so long to get a drink. The menu is very limited. The food took forever to come and was not worth waiting for. I would appear that the priority is for the camp site pizza orders.

Not dissapointed. If anything things are even better. Great location refurbished restaurants better menus, welcoming and attentive service. Great to be back. Looking forward to Moules night Tuesday. Great for a coffee after the morning run on the beach. Just love it.

Be careful how you order food - my husband asked for medium rare and it was still mooing - the French way is erring on the side of blue! That aside we had 2 good meals in there - mains, desert and wine for 2 people £60

On the beach of Gros Jonc a very nice restaurant is located. You will be surprised about the big choice of small and big tasty dishes. After a sunbath on a perfect beach a perfect place to go.
