Very bad food. We visited the restaurant, my wife and I. We ordered a business meal that included fish soup, completely inedible, we returned the dish without eating it except for a taste. Main course, I ordered entrecote steak and chips, if that's called entrecote then the cows in Normandy should be ashamed. The meat is not tasty, hard and... More

Arromanches has many good places to dine, but Au 6 Juin is simply wonderful. I ordered Mussels With Cream Sauce and have to say...it was the finest meal that I had in a one week visit to the Normandy Beaches area. I would go there every night if I had found it sooner. The service was excellent. If you visit... More

A reasonable restaurant, well located and very "formulaic" in its menu (very similar to many others - nothing to make it really stand out). The food is okay and the service is good but overall (sadly) nothing special.

I can imagine that when tourist season starts, this place must get really busy, and perhaps the quality lags a little then; but I can really only speak for our meal, and we were quite satisfied. In fact, the fish and chips that I had was among the best I've ever had. The batter was crispy on the outside (and... More

Very friendly staff but not a really special restaurant. The quality of the food is average but as the prices are also relatively low there is not much you can complain about. Would recommend for having a drink and a simple meal.

The town was so very quiet - we were in search of fish and this was the first we found with an acceptable menu. We were not disappointed - delicious!

We were a group of twelve booking in time to get a table in the Brasserie au 6 Juin. We were served by a very friendly, alert and patient waiter - perhaps he was the boss, he had the age and authority. The atmosphere was relaxed, a bit between a fast food space and a restaurant, which for us as... More

Came here for dinner. Only two places open and the other was empty. Had the pork with cider and was fantastic. Buddy had the fish and ships and liked it. Prices and service very good.

Very Nice Staff. Great location and Atmosphere. Great hours even in off season. Speaks multiple languages. Food is average but still a good meal. Would go back.
